(Especially if you do not follow the rules for which images you can request a graphic to be made out of.)

q: What do you use to make your images?
a: I run a Mac G4 with OS 9.2.2 and I use Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and Wacom tablet and pen.
I have an external LaCie 150gb hard drive and my Mac runs 614mb of RAM.

a: Alas, I lack time. For graphics, post it in this forum (if it's fan art) and I might stop by.
q: Where do you get your images?
a: LyokoFreak.net's Image Gallery - closed temporally! or
Wartonchan's Screenshot Request Thread
If you use one of LyokoFreak.net’s gallery images, paste the URL to the page of the full-sized image. Don’t just give me the link to the image directly; make it to the page the image is on.
For now (2/21/06), use the estimable Wartonchan's screenshots. Scroll through the topic until you find the image you want (make sure it's a screenshot and not someone's signature/avatar image) then click on the YELLOW ARROW next to Wartonchan's name in that post and PASTE that link in the Image field of the request form. If there are two images in the post, tell me which one to use (e.g., first image or second image).
YOU MUST DO IT THIS WAY IF YOU USE WARTONCHAN'S GRAPHICS.
Important: From now on (2/21) you MUST get your images from either LyokoFreak.net's gallery or from Wartonchan's screenshots.
I have permission from them to use their images. I will no longer accept a link to a hosted graphic.
(I will not use Star Way's icons.)
q: Must I link to you?
a: of course.
q: Will you make more then one image per request?
a: I would love to! A graphic/avatar set or two avatars and a banner or whatever, no problem.
q: Will you make me a non-Code Lyoko image?
a: Depends on if you have permission to use the images or not. Fill out a request form, but make sure to note it’s not a Code Lyoko graphic and that the images you provide you have permission to use.
q: May I change the codes you provide? / May I use different codes?
a: Absolutely not. The only way I will allow someone to change the code is if they ask first. A good example would be when LyoKoHaCk had me make him a banner for his website. I gave him permission to change the link of the banner.
q: May I use the images in my signature/on my site/wherever?
a: Why do you think I provide codes for you to use them? Find the second post in this topic and find the section titled "Using My Graphics".
q: May I use your images on a different site?
a: As long as my codes are not disturbed, yes, you may. The avatars don’t need to be linked (since it usually can’t be done).
q: May I modify your images?
a: Over my dead body. Do not launch my images into a graphic arts program. Do not change the size, add text, remove bits, do anything with my images. The only modification you may make is changing the height and width tags in the HTML. The original image is not touched that way.
q: Can I post the link to the image so other people can use them / Can I redistribute them?
a: No! Do this, and if I find you, you will be in so much trouble! This includes uploading my graphics to any site (hosting, personal, gallery, whatever).
q: I found someone violating your rules / I found someone redistributing your graphics!
What do I do?
a: Post a link to the webpage, or, if it's a forum user, to their profile, or, if they posted it in a topic, to that topic.
q: Will you do animations?
a: Since I have no experience in them; no.
q: I can't get the code working! Will you help me?
a: Yes, I will. Paste what code you're trying to use as well as where you're trying to use it (send me the link to the site/page) in a reply.
To thread lurkers (those who read this thread): If you understand the differences between BBCode formatting amonst forums and what HTML is, I don't mind if you provide techinal support and show them what they're doing wrong and what code to use.
However, if you're wrong, don't expect much more then 'Thanks for trying, now go research."
Requesting Graphics:
Use this form:
- Code: Select all

[b]Graphic Size:[/b] (see 'standards'; below)
[b]Describe what you want:[/b] (Like what characters, colors, general look.)
[b]Text:[/b] (include the text and what style of font (grunge, script, ect.)

After you fill out the form, post it here in a reply.
Then, when I see it, I'll reply with a message like "I see it; It'll be done approximately x number of days."
Standard Image Sizes:
Avatars: 60x60x, 65x65px, 95x95px, 100x100px
Banners: 500x125px, 500x135px
Banners are a little more freeform. I will make images up 550x180px.
File Extensions:
I will choose what file type will work best. I compress for quality, not load-time.
.jpgs are what I'll usually use, especially with photo-heavy images
.gifs is more for text-based images (since jpg compression really messes up thin lines and text).

I hope you'll decide to use my services. Don't feel afraid to approach me; I'm very nice as long as you follow my rules. I know this post is getting really long. I make good graphics, it just takes more effort on your part then most other places. The quality of my work will outweigh the extra ten minutes you spend putting the request form together.
