Back at the factory Jeremie Belpois watched the screen as Odd and Aelita patrolled Lyoko.

” Well Einstein looks like Xana took a break,” Odd remarked.

 “You can never be too careful, usually when Xana’s this quiet he’s up to something big,” Jeremie warned. 

Just then the supercomputer started beeping.

”Oh no, there’s something big going on in the forest sector!”

“An activated tower?” asked Aelita.

“No much worse, Xana seems to be building a tower of his own!”

“Is that possible?” Odd asked.

“It appears so, and that means trouble for us….”

“I’m bringing you guys back.”

“Wait Jeremie maybe we can do something from here,” Aelita asked.

“No, I need you back here to help me analyze the new tower.”

“Alright see you soon.”

Odd and Aelita stepped out of the elevator to find Jeremie typing like crazy.

“What’s wrong Jeremie?” Aelita asked.

“I can’t seem to get anything on the tower, it’s like Xana’s shielded it or something.”

"I’ll try to help, Odd you call the others.”

“ Sure thing Princess,” Odd said.

When Yumi and Ulrich got the call they were in the gym sparring, and to Yumi’s

surprise Ulrich was winning.

“Alright Jeremie, we’ll be there as soon as possible,” Ulrich said.

“Another activated tower?” Yumi asked.

“Not exactly but close,” Ulrich said.

Minutes later the two arrived at the factory to find the others waiting.

“So Jeremie, how can Xana build a tower now and he couldn’t before?” Yumi asked.

“Well, it seems Xana completely shut down monster production.” Jeremie replied.

“Now he’s helping us save the world, with no monsters we can deactivate towers twice as easily.” Ulrich said.

"Not exactly," Jeremie replied.

"What do you mean Jeremie?" Aelita asked.

"Well theoretically if Xana can cloak the tower from the superscan than he may be able to make it where Aelita can't deactivate it.Then he wouldn't even need monsters."

"You think that's his plan?" Yumi asked.

"It has Xana written all over it," Odd replied.

"Then we'll have to destroy it," Ulrich said.

"Well Einstein, what do we do now," Odd asked.

"Until I can find the tower again I suggest we all go back to school and wait."

The next morning at breakfast the gang was tense, but knew nothing could be done until they knew of Xana's plans for the new tower.No one felt like saying much,but Odd was the first one to say something.

"Just because Xana is going to attack doesn't mean we have to mope around until it happens,"

"Yes,but if we can't make plans if we know that we could be needed at any moment," Jeremie replied.

"As if we didn't have enough problems," Ulrich said.

Then everyone saw what he meant. Sissi Delmas and her lapdogs Herb and Nicholas were headed straight towards them.

"Ulrich dear...," Sissi started but was immediately cut off by Ulrich.

"Whatever it is forget it."

Sissi was unaffected and was determined to continue whether he wanted her too or not.

"I wanted to see if you would like to go to the movies later?" Sissi asked,knowing the answer.

"No," Ulrich replied,"I have plans later."

"I haven't even told you when the movie is yet," Sissi said.

"I have a strong feeling that it's when my plans are."

At this Sissi knew she would have to give up for now but was determined to find some way to get him to go later.Finally she left,Herb and Nicholas right behind.

Then the bell rang for class and they went their seperate ways.Class was uneventfull and the five were almost glad when Jeremie's laptop started to beep.

Odd, Ulrich, and Jeremie got out of class by pretending Jeremie was sick and they helped him to the infirmary.When they were out of class they called the others and soon all were at the factory to see what was going on.

"Xana must be finished with his new tower because the superscan picked it up when it was activated," Jeremie said.

"Ok, Odd and Aelita will go to lyoko while Yumi and Ulrich will stay and try to find out what his plan is."

"Ok Jeremie," Aelita said

"Wait Aelita."

"Yes, Jeremie" Aelita asked.

"Be Careful."

"Don't worry Einstein I'll take good care of her," Odd said.

"Now hurry get to the scanners."

With Odd and Aelita on lyoko Yumi and Ulrich could only wait until Xana revealed his plan, but they wouldn't have to wait for long.

Only minutes after Odd and Aelita had been virtualized they had heard a sound from the elevator.A wrenching sound followed and the door flung openinside a xanafied person or so it would seem.

"This is the best he could do with that new tower of his,pathetic," Ulrich said.

"You may find it pathetic but it is only because you cannot comprehend Xana's greatness."

This caught Ulrich and Yumi off gaurd because never before had a posessed person spoke.

"Yes, that's right insignificant human my master has found a way to make us solid and intelligent.A wonderful combination if i do say so myself"

"Either way you're going down," Ukrich replied.

He and Yumi leaped forward to grab the ghost only to find that it had already grabbed them.His grip was as hard as steel and nothing they did could make it let go.Then it slung them against a wall.

While the fight ensued behind him Jeremie thought of an idea.Quickly he programed a low-level virus onto a disk.Then when it was done he threw it at the ghost.Opon contact the ghost froze as if time itself had stopped.

"What did you do Jeremie?" Yumi asked.

"Xana may have made them solid, but he doesn't have virus software.Hurry and get him into the elevator shaft, i don't know how long that will last."

Once virtualized on Lyoko Odd and Aelita hopped ontheir vehicles and sped off in the direction of the tower.

"At least with Xana not making monsters we won't have company," Odd said.

"We still better hurry Xana could attack the others any minute," Aelita replied.

Minutes later they arrived at the new tower. The sight of a black tower was enough to suprise them but what was beside it was even more suprising, the Scipthazoa.

"it looks like Xana saved one last monster for us Princess," Odd said.

"Odd I don't think it's after us it seems to be waiting for something,but what."

Then as if it had been given the go ahead by Xana it went inside the tower. Aelita tried to follow but was kocked back by the tower's hard outer shell.

"Xana really doesn't want you in there, I wonder why?" Odd asked, more to himself than Aelita but he soon got his answer.

Soon after the tower glowed and then the black on the tower spread out and headed in the direction of a new tower. Odd and Aelita followed it and watch as it engulfed the other tower, now there were two.

At the moment the second tower was xanafied the monster received enough power to break free from the virus, but it was too late.By the time it looked up it was flattened by the elevator.

Odd and Aelita returned to the real world and found out what had happened.Odd had picked up some of the remains of the monster when they were coming up so he could show the others. Jeremie anylyzed it while they talked.

 "So this was a solid ghost who could talk?" Odd asked.

"Yeah and it could fight pretty well too," Ulrich replied.

"Hold on you guys, the analysis came back,it turns out that it was just a protype," Jeremie said.

"What does that mean exactly Jeremie?" Aelita asked.

"It means that this is only the beginning, and I fear the end is nowhere in sight."
