I would tell you to forget about that guy, that anyone who puts you through something like that isn't really your friend and doesn't deserve your attention, and that you're better than him, but alas, true love cannot be turned off at the flick of a switch.

...when you ALWAYS forget to get your picture taken, so you never end up in the yearbook...
