If you didn't die of old age/disease, you would live for 1700 years on average before dying in an accident.

There is a higher probability of Britain and France being engulfed in another ice age in the next 20 years due to the polar caps melting than there is of Busch actually defeating terrorism in the next 100 years. Or saying something that is grammatically correct when being interviewed live.

Captain Beefheart really sold 10,000,000 copies of "Trout Mask...", not Justin Timberlake.

Is Water dangerous?

Yes. A scientific survey recently concluded that every creature on earth contains Water, and almost every creature imbibes more during its life. Moreover, every animal that has ever ingested this substance has invariably tried to get more. Organisms unable to get more Water show signs of withdrawal, or "dehydration," and eventually die. Organisms that ingest more Water inevitably die anyway.

Aside from the biological considerations, remember that Water is composed of Hydrogen and Oxygen, which are used together as rocket fuel. Enough cannot be said about the volatile nature of this chemical.

Did you know that Gary Young of Pavement was Daniel Johns' older brother, but moved to California before he could develop an accent?

The salt in saltwater is actually made of Sodium, which explodes when it touches water, and Chloride, which is a yellow poison that spreads when it touches water.

And yetit is necessary to human life, AND TEH FISHIES!

Twit is the literary term for a pregnant goldfish.

I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uhmmm, some people out there in our nation don't have maps and uh, I believe that our, I, education like such as, uh, South Africa, and uh, the Iraq, everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uhhh, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa, it should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future, for us.

Sorry. I had to.

Anyways, as for the topic: Laser is actually an acronym. Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.

Pavement never got a gold record in their life...nor did Sonic Youth.

Also, Suicidal Tendencies had only one Modern Rock hit: Asleep at the Wheel.

Institutionalized was made before the Modern Rock Tracks chart was made.

Smash Mouth's early hits, like "Let's Rock" and "Nervous in the Alley" are played on Modern Rock radio. Their later hits are played on Top 40 radio. Why? Interscope Records made them change their style.

However, signing to Universal Records (ironically, part of the same group as Interscope; Daniel Johnston suffered this one time) made them have creative control and they released their new album, a mixture of their "Fush Yu Mang" recordings and their later stuff of "Astro Lounge" and "Smash Mouth". They abandoned the "Get The Picture?" style, however, due to low sales of that album.
