Just a quick update: I have noticed since pretty much the moment I first joined how the school really didnt resemble Kadic too much except the fact we knew it was based around C:L in some way. While I do not blame anyone for this as the show is really vague when it comes to the layout of the school sometimes, I have recently taken the initiative to totally rebuild the school from the ground up and it does indeed match the school MUCH better than it did before. In fact, both the map seen on some of the super computer shots and the satellite photo of the real world school (which are really both identical upon further inspection) were used in the planning process of the new build. Nearly a full day of accumulated research was done between of looking over the satellite photo, a few photos of the real school, and numerous 'scenery' shots from all 52 episodes to get it down to like 99% like the real thing.

It is indeed confusing on first glance and just about the only person who knows their way around well is me and even I got a little confused at times. But if you watch the show close enough, for the most part it should be easy to figure out. Nevertheless, I am currently working on an interactive type of map to put up on the site that will include show screencaps to give you a better visual of each location.

As a result, we have also added in more classes so now we have Science with Mrs. Hertz, history with Mr. Fumet, Gym with Mr. Morales, Art with Mr. Chardin, and Math with Mrs. Meyer. And the dorms are now properly separated between boys and girls floors.

Enjoy! I had much fun working on this project despite the nearly 6 hours of non-stop sleepless build hours.

Just another real quicky but very important update:

What with the upcoming Season 3 airing, The whole MUSH has been revamped all over and as such is now being more geared towards XANA activity rather than boring school activity. A new combat system with much more RP'ing flexibility is currently in the works as well.

Just another quickie update. With season 3 airing soon, we are prepping a big pre-s3-primer plot to hopefully attract some more activity back to the MUSH. Once again, once s3 begins to air we will be working with the new episodes for brand new and action packed plots on the MUSH.

As well, Just about every feature character is open and available except for Ulrich and Odd right now. Anyone is welcome to audition for a part. Just ask.

Just another somewhat short update since things have changed a bit since the last update.

1) All past banned TL members as well as anyone who may have been banned from here during that time frame around march/april/may are unbanned and given a second chance. This has been on the books for a while and as such, most of those who have wanted to return have done so. If anyone here falls under the above circumstances and you wish to return, it is probably a good idea to let me know ahead of time just in case.
2) Our Aelita and Jeremie positions have been taken. Yumi and Sissi are currently the primary feature characters open although some more lesser characters like William and other students are open as well. NPC's like Jim, Mrs. Hertz, etc. will also be considered if inquired about.
3) The third annual Kadic dance will be coming up around the beginning of december give or take a week or so. As such, suggestions for new dance music are opening up. You can email those to me at 'Vchat20-at-gmail-dot-com'. Also, this means any new players wanting to take part should sign up ahead of time to get to know their way around the school and meet other students, etc.
4) With Season 3 underway, plenty of new enticing plots are already being brainstormed as we speak and as such, will be put into motion very soon. And just like before, these are all geared towards the masses (read: the regular kadic students).

Coming up on November 23rd will be LyokoMUSH's First Anniversary and as such, we invite everyone to join us for a giant birthday bash to celebrate the enormous success of LyokoMUSH. There will be a dance complete with music, awards for various players, the list goes on. Again, this is on the 23rd of November. It will be an all day event and everyone is welcome. You can nominate your favorite players for various awards on the MUSH by going here. Also, you are welcome to submit any kind of music you would like to see make it to the dance party, you can send them to us through here (LyokoMUSH Radio is an official affiliate of LyokoMUSH and is sponsoring this event.)

We all encourage you to join us for this event. And remember: It only comes once a year. ^^

Just a quick heads up here:

If you're making a new character, it would be GREATLY appreciated if you could make it a girl. Out of the ten or so active male characters, there are MAYBE four or five active female characters; three of which who are on daily.

In fact, here are the total statistics:

Male: 29
Female: 9

So as you can clearly see, the ratio of boy/girl is greatly unbalanced.

Just a bit more of an update here concerning a few things:

So far we have all of the main character positions filled. Although we are open for anyone wanting to take other minor character positions from Sissi, Herve, and Nicholas to faculty like Rosa, Yolonda, Mrs. Hertz, etc. Once again, this follows the same auditioning procedure as before for the main characters.

Over the next week or so we will be phasing out the on-MUSH character generation and instead implementing a totally web-based Character creation and generation wizard which will hopefully solve some of the confusion amongst newbies getting started.

Plot-wise we have a new, somewhat rehashed plot arc coming up the week of the 18th to hopefully work into some people's christmas vacations. Upon the return to school ICly, the whole student body of Kadic Academy will be taking another field trip/vacation to the Alps and this time will make it in one peice. The area has already been built out by our very own Wanre (Wolfhanyou) for students to have a good time. We would love to see many people join us for some fun. And as always, expect the unexpected.
