What do you think about programming? Did anyone try to program something yet? Who is? What languages do you use? Any encounters with specific situations?

I *_* programming. I've been learning it since I was 7 I think on old DOS 1 MB RAM 200 MB HDD machine with Cyrix 386 with qbasic and turbopascal onboard. I've learned BASIC,C,PASCAL,PHP,ASSEMBLER, I actively program in 3 ones from the end of the list, and I regularly use programming to solve homeworks.

Yeah, I can do Java. With a .bat file, it's as good as C++ for double-clicking to run goodness on anyone with Java installed.

I don't do it as much as I used to, but I've put together some programs. Probably my favories I've done a text-based dungeon crawl game and my program that used for loops to brute force the bell curve distribution of a dice roll of X Y-sided dice.

I was even a Software Engineering major for a semester. I'm in Political Science now (and no, I'm not pre-law!).
