YIM and buddies public?

I don't know if this belongs here or in the Site Discussion, but I put my YIM ID on LF and tested the thing out to what happened. It came up with a page that showed everyone on my contact list. Is there a way to keep these things private on these kind of boards?

I think you can only see that page if you're logged in with your YID, so you should be good.

Ah, good. I noted that. Because I don't log into my account too much (Because I HAVE NO FRIENDS.... I sound so emo. Seriously, I only have two contacts. And they're relatives.), I'll be good with that.

Okay, I see. It only shows your buddies to you. (I tried it with someone else and I saw a list of my contacts instead )
