Sometimes I think I'm trying too hard.

I always try to please everyone, mainly because I'm afraid of rejection. But now, I feel like I can't do that anymore. I've gotten in too deep- with here, Deviantart, the forum I manage (where I'm the only admin on duty, and it's growing too fast for me to keep up with), and all that.

It's too much...and whenever I think I've made someone angry with me, I can't shake it off- whether it's here, at home, or at school, where I have no real friends and can't shake the suspicion that a lot of people hate me.

I feel like I'm headed for a breakdown. Like, over at Games, with the whole caption contest thing. I feel like telling Rodri that he can just ban me if he's that angry. (Even if that is kind of ridiculous...)

I know it's stupid. Don't try to tell me. I need to find organization and peace, without shutting down anything major.

I had a feeling you'd be a little... 'ooer' after that thread. Don't worry about it. It happens to me all the time! All I need is a good night's sleep and I completely forget about whatever happened.

That and never looking at the thread again, but that's another story. Point is, I'm sure Rodri isn't '@$%£!' mad at you. ^^

Dang, it seems you've been through a lot lately.

Just be yourself and don't try to please everybody, because some people just can't be pleased no matter what you try.

As for Rodri, don't worry about it. He'll probably cool off in a couple of days and act like nothing ever happened.

Why would we think it's stupid? We forum-goers go through the same thing too.

Just remember that we're with you all the way.

You're not being stupid in the least. I have been there before, and I know what it's like to try to please everyone and always feel like everyone hates you anyway. It's lonely, but I'm glad that you are at least talking about it.

It's okay to not please everyone. People who demand perfection aren't your friends anyway, friends love you for exactly who you are, even if you fail them or don't do things exactly right, or the way they think they should be done. And they understand when you are stretching yourself too thin and need to just back off for a while. Already you are rallying support here; there are people that care. I suggest cutting back and doing only the things that you truely want to - do what makes you happy. You don't have to be everything to everyone, you can take a break from some things if you have to. As Shademan said, we are with you.

Carth... I'm sorry if for any reason I made any influence on your current suffering. As Tekirai pointed, I wasn't that *favourite word (and action too) that you will legally use in 4 days* angry at you, just that I noticed your thread and I was like "what the hell?". Then, I read that part where StarWay gave you the okay, but she barely checks out Games and I'm sure that not many people read the last part of the thread where I stated that changes will happen (new rules) and that there will be a solution for those who aren't in BKO (those who are younger than 13, mention it at Carth's thread), but they read at Site Discussion the part where I say I will move it to BKO. Things will be explained about it soon.

Life will change for you as you grow up. You will get real friends (there are few in the world, but you'll know them) eventually... and I'm sure you'll enjoy LF more in just 4 days.

Your first mistake is fearing rejection and trying to please everyone. If you try to please everyone, most of them will end up hating you anyway. You will be marked as a suck-up which is not a very admireable trait.
