I must ask where I got my 190 IQ from beacause my parents sure don't look like they have 1%.

My sister Erica always depends on me for the computer. Your 18 for crying outloud! When she need's picture uploaded, I do it. When she needs thing downloaded she needs it. When she needs a stinking floppy disc copied out from I need to do it.

My mother who worked in a computer business for 5 years, she doesn't know how to use them. I have to show her where the start menu is. What's wrong with her?

My dad who just plain wants to throw the PC out knows very well my mom needs that for her job.


What's with them?

Wow, yet another case of parents getting high on stupid pills. xD (What I'm trying to say is... sorry your life has to be that way. Maybe you can teach everybody else how to do it, rather than just granting technology requests and getting it done. Make them get it done themselves.

Whoa! The longer you try and teach them, they'll get use to it. If not, set up a text file on the desktop saying "READ THIS: Their name" And this is just an idea.

the best thing you can do is to sit them down and say, I will show you how to do what you are trying to do, then that way, they wont have to depend on you to do it, they will be able to do it themselves.

That's weird. Have you tried teaching them how to use it?

Yes. Multiple attempts FAILED. MY mom tells me she knows whats she's doing and yet she doesn't.
