Sorry I havent been on in a while but with all of these doctors I have no time for what I want to do. It was confirmed that I have type II. This means that I only have to take oral meds. Right now I am still on insluin but they are decreasing it little by little. My surgar is in normal range now but the other night my sugar dropped down to 81. It is still in range but I really didn't feel good. I was sweting, my head hurt. I was having a headache all day.(frequent headache's comes with it too). And when it was 9:00 i'm like mom i dont feel good. She told me to take my sugar and it was 81. So she did what she had to do. Luckly, I didn't pass out. If I did she would have to give me an injection. But everthing is ok now and I am fine. And my enzymes are back to normal.

Sounds like it's all working out. Once your Diabetes clears up and if it turns out you have two kidneys, still take a lesson from all of this. It's important to always have good nutrition and things of that nature. I'm not making too many assumptions here, but when I see it, poor diet is what usually causes Diabetes and kidney failure.

I dont have kidney failure and I eat the right foods but type II is hereterry. My dad, grandma have it. My gerat grandma had it (she died). My mom was also bodered lined for it to. And with the kidney thing when I was little I always drank a lot and went to the bathroon a lot so there was nothing wrong with me. It was insadental that we found this out. My right kidney is compancating for both so we couldn't tell that I had one kidney.

Not a medical professional, but I would guess Type 1, from the fact that you have only one Kidney.

Ya know... back in the day another word for ADD/ADHD was stupid. >.>

Just saying because I diagnosised with ADD as well and looking back on my childhood it seems like the biggest crock of poo in the world.

Darn straight! That stuff doesn't even exist. That's why everyone has it. All it is, is the parents don't know how to dicipline their kids and keep them in line, so they grow up spoiled and goofy and end up showing symptoms of these "disorders." I got the most effective medication for it attached to my shoulder. Just smack the kid on the back of the head good and hard and let him know what he did wrong enough times and he'll never act up again.

And just to let you know I was raised to listen and trust me I did.

Any hoo It was confirmed today at 1:51 pm that I only have one kideny. And the worst part is that it is not functioning up to par. But there is a good side to this, I cant play any contact sports. In my school for more than half the year we play contact sports.

I also forgot to say that it is not working up to standers. They need to monator my blood pressure. I need to start taking it once a month. If this problem gets wors I may need a kidney transplant or be on some kind of machine that I need to use three times a week.

Thanks that really hepls. But things are getting better because my mom said that I can have a birthday party since my birthday is on September 12 and since it is the second week of school where I live my mom said I can have a party before we go back to school.
