SKOOL.

You knew this would come up sooner or later.

One problem- books. We have to cart a whole crapload of them between classes- the afternoon haul for me is two large binders, two large binders, a pencil case, and the manga I'm currently loath to get my hands off of. I've already dropped the load once, and it's just the second day of school. Teachers are out to break our backs. I KNOW IT. As if actual learning wasn't bad enough.

Other problem- Boys. In my class. I don't mind them, and some are quite cool-very cool, in fact- but there are nine that catch my attention- three in a good way, three in a bad way, three in a somewhat-irritating-but-not-all-that-bad way. There's the Very Geeky and Annoying (somewhat irritating), the Not-so-Geeky but Somehow More Annoying (bad), and the Boys I Like But Will Never Really Go Out With Because Of Common Sense And Other Unfortunate Events (good).

I will start with the VGAA. Now, I like geeks. I happen to think several are very cute. (Unfortunately, Dib, Jeremie, and Piro don't exist- well, Piro technically exists, but he's 37 and has been married for two years). But real geeks- less cute. They have done nothing to harm me, and yet they irritate me- they ask obscure questions that they refuse to leave unanswered (one asked a question about short length. In math class.), and several girls have joked about me having crushes on at least one of them, or vice versa. I have no real problems with them, but...um...yeah. It just gives me a shuddery feeling.

There are two in my regular classes, and two (one from before and one other) in my math and science classes.

Now the NSGBSMA. These guys are more annoying- and they actually have reason. They seem to LIKE harassing me. Two of them haven't done much as of late, but one just WON'T take hints- he shouts remarks at me in the hall, blames me for things he did, and generally usually makes a real fool of himself. I've tried ignoring him, but his brain is rather thick. (Strange thing is...he looks exactly like Nicolas. ^^) This is what I need help with- trying to get him to lay off, for god's sake.

Finally, the boys I like. This is more of a rant then help I need, because I have no say in things. There are three- one of them transferred out of the school (I think it's mostly my fault...he was a NSGBSMA, and, well...I didn't handle it in the best way.) into a nearby public school, one of them moved to South Something (he was cute...^^;), and the one that's still actually HERE isn't in any of my classes. And I think he has a girlfriend already. Or something.

Uh...here ends my jabber. Goodnight.

When I was in college, here is what I did..this may not work for you but its a suggestion, only carry the books you need, and maybe ask your teachers if you can bring the recorder into class and the class can be taped..buy you like a tape recorder..digital or otherwise, and try that..it helped me considerably..but thats just me.

As far as for the boys..well I wish I could help ya there.

Uggh, I know how you feel. Do you have the time to get new books out of your locker before classes? That kinda helps.

thats a great idea...try to get to your locker between classes if you can, and it should free you up a bit from the heaviness of the books.

I know how you feel. I swear the teachers ARE trying to kill us and there are some really geeky kids in my class. I don't have anything against nerds, but some are just plain annoying.

Never had to use a locker, I would keep them all in my Backpack. Well, It's a giant Carrying case. So I was able to place all of my books into it.

but if its too heavy for her, the locker deal may be her best option, if she has the time to reach it between classes.

We're not allowed to carry books in backpacks unless your arm is broken or something. My locker's in my homeroom, so the teachers say that we can't go in there lest we 'disrupt class'. I never know what books I'll need.

....My school sucks.

That's how it works here...our school's so huge that the administration determined that we could lug around backpacks...xD Though from looking at me, you really wouldn't know. I carry around some stuff in my arms and the rest in my Megatokyo Flapdoozy. Very light.
