I have a lot of friends in my schools. Boys, girls, and teachers. Sometimes it's a good thing to have a lot of friends. But in this case it's not.

I have a friend who loves the spot light to be on her. Her and only her. She calls me everytime I want to be alone. Either it's because she wants me to go to a dance *which I hate school outtings* or just to talk about anything that is in her world. I mean for goodness sakes yesterday I was wearing one of my favorite hoodies and she wanted to borrow it for the next period. I told her nicely that I wasn't going to hand it out right now and she goes all in a huff because I didn't give her my hoodie.

And I'm also working on the yearbook this year so I'm not in the greatest of moods. Also yesterday she was mean to one of my other friends just because they asked us nicely to stop singing. It was getting annoying anyways so I didn't mind. But this girl just won't stop with the drama. It either has to be her way or the high way. I'm just getting sick of the drama. My parents are on my side and are pulling for me. But right now I just need to rant into a different place because right now I just really want to blow off some steam. I had the same problem with another girl *Whole different story not worth telling*

But She was just an attention Wh*** that wanted it all to herself. We were friends, but because of that additude and he ability to suck up to other people got her a position that I wanted. I just left after she got it. I told her that "I hope you are happy with what you did because you just lost a close friend"

I feel sorry for both of you. Of course, I think most of us have had similar experiences here..With friends like those, yall dont need enemies.

IH, you should just not be friends with her if that is the way she is going to be.

DB, people that get positions like that the easy way never really get ahead. It may appear that way now..but Karma will bring it back full circle....you did the right thing by calling it quits there.

I know the feeling. Many of my friends, and enemies, are drama queens...some more bearable than others. I've learned to just ignore the drama queen bit best I can...it still can get under my skin, but I just remind myself of the person's good qualities (at least, I do so if they're my friend ), and why they're my friend. That usually helps.
Now, if this friend is trully selfish, then it'd be my view to drop her. Selfishness in a friendship can only go so far before it turns ugly. I know it's easier said than done in (you are a girl, right?) the female social world, but if it's for a good reason, then it'd be better to stop being her friend. Or at least make her aware of the fact that she's being cruel in her selfishness.

Yeah but the worst part is she's calling me non-stop. Now I ask my parents to say that I'm outside working, not here, or in the shower. I already told her once to cut back on the calling because she's ticking my parents off.
