I am 13 years old and have never had a girl like me. That means I've never had a girlfriend. This is mainly why I'm in love with Yumi. However, there is this girl I like who thinks I'm invisible. To her, I don't exist. I'm a loser.....Do you guys have any suggestions? And yes, I have tried talking to her.

Okay, first of all, don't associate not having a girlfriend with being a loser. I've met people older than you who have never been in a relationship and they're anything but losers. Second, I think every teenager has felt the way you're feeling now, so you're not alone there.

Don't worry about stuff like that too much. The best you can do is to be yourself when you talk to her. Whatever happens only makes you a more experienced person. You're still very young, you have plenty of time to find somone.

I don't think you should worry about it. You're too young. That's awesome you feel that way about someone but it will just make you depressed if you worry about it so much at such a young age. I made the same mistake.

Howdy, I'm 20 and I havn't really had a girlfriend. (There was sorta a gal who was de facto a girlfriend for a while, but we never really went anywhere with it) (Does the fact I havn't dated much/at all make my advice on the subject automatically invalid?)

I remember some of my own bitterness and depression at this subject throughout my teens, really you just kinda have to suffer through it. Really so few of us find any real love then, so don't be shocked. The only advice I can try to give (and you'll think this is dumb, trust me, I heard it too and scoffed) is that there are a ton of fish in the seas. If you get focused on one too much it makes you obsessed, and if it's out of your reach, well, you know, grief happens. If you talked to this one gal already you're more on the right path than I was at any rate. I finally started getting better late in high school when I realized I could hang out with a girls, casually, just a friend. After a while if a friend starts to mean something more, there you go. Obviously there are fellows who can just walk up and make romance happen, but if you're asking internet forums, then you're probably like us and not them.

Oh well, take my rambling or not as you see fit.

Don't worry dude I'm the same as you. I will be turning 13 soon and I haven't even had one girl that I have been in a relationship with. It ain't fair, but hey, nobody said life was fair. But, something that really hurts is to go through this and have someone rub it in on you. trust me, I've been in every type of social-breakdown situation around. Just be yourself, and one day, you'll find soemone that appreciates who you are. I'm not saying it'll be easy, but, ya never know... And guess what, I've had a couple of girls that I've liked and that they didn't think of me except as the goofy nice kid. The closest I ever got was in 3rd grade. Anyway, good luck.

Yumi Luver I've been threw the same thing. I used to love Aelita. Think Aelita is right by me all the time. But one day a girl came and ask me on a date we went kiss done other things (NO ITS NOT LIKE THAT) So I hope that thing happens to you.

MANY things are worse than that. Prom only lasts one night. It's an overrated event. I think it would be worse if you don't graduate... or if you take your cousin to the prom and make her pretend she's your girlfriend.

Anyway, yeah, 18 is a bad mark. I wasn't even going to ever go to my highschool proms, but I ended up going to a single one with the gal I mention, not to make anybody feel bad. But he's right, 18 is rather the early end of life still, even then I wouldn't be frettin'

Get past about somewhere between 20 and 30, then worry.
