Officer Michal Briggs was a policeman in Manchester new hampshire. At about two am on Monday morning, he responded to a domestic violence call downtown, where he casually thalked to a man. That man waszMichael Addison, abn man, who three years earlier, was saved by Officer Briggs when he was shot in the head. The two friends shared a few words, then Officer bBriggs turned around to leave. Just as he reached his bike, Addison pulled out a gun and shot Briggs in the head. He died a day and a half later, when he was taken off of life support.

Today, his memorial service was held, which took place in fisher cat stadium. Those who spoke were his fellow officers, three sisters, and the NINETEEN PEOPLE HE PULLED OUT OF A BURNING BUILDING three weeks before.

Now, this is why I post this. That man was shot four hours away from my house. I live in the town directly south of the border of Manchester, and can spit into Manchvegas from my bedroom window. And what more, I remember seeing this man keeping the kids calm a few years back when the tire storace facility caught fire next to my elementary school. And then this guy, whos life was saved by this man three years ago, just turned around and shot him. I just find that so... disturbing!

I've known some fine Police Officers who have died in the line of duty, who were relivtives of mine. I feel the same way.
