k guys my rents want me to get my head out of the clouds so they're taking me out of chorus and voice lessons. i want to go to college so i can be a chorus teacher and teach high schoolers. I've tried talking to them but it didn't help. i just need some support at the moment and some people to help me get through this till i can convince them otherwise.

Maybe you should tell your parents that many people have been successfull and have earned decent living in a vochal career....?

tried but then they took my ipod, tv, comp, ps2, and books away. they wouldn't listen. they taking away my paper too unless it's for homework so i can't write.

Er...That's not good.

Are you getting good grades in choral stuff? that might an issue.

How can they take books and paper away from you? Seriously, that is messed up, have somebody talk to them if they won't listen to you.

Its fine now thank you. still can't free write but I've gotten most of my stuff back. They're still threatening to take me out of chorus and color guard.Thank you for your help and just listening.

Hey, if nothing else works, there's always first-degree murder.

...seriously, though, don't try that. :nyeh!:

If things get unfavorable again, ask your chorus teacher to speak to them.

I think that might help, especially if he / she thinks you really have a future at it.
