My papaw

My papaw was just told Monday that he has about less than a year to live. I don't really know how to cope. I love him very much. I don't want him to die. It seems as if my life is crashing down on me. My health is down the tubes, my dad's health fell down the tubes about 30 years ago but now it's worse, and now my papaw. I don't know what to do. Usually I'm the strong one. the one that always laughs and never cries. I'm having nervous break downs and am not allowed to show it. I have to be the strong one. I can't let my family see me cry. I feel like everything will collapse if I show them how I feel. What do I do?

Wow that is a lot of crap happening *hugs*. I'm so sorry. All I can say is enjoy the time you have with him - don't waste it. Also, it's ok to cry, even if it's in the middle of the night when no one else is awake it can help. Also journals I have found, are amazing...

Man I'm back .But back to topic .LoL docters say that but look at .what his name the guy who is in a wheelchair and understands alot about space .oh oh I just seen him on tv .A lot of people would be scaried .Question is doe's he believe it .It's up to him to fight .It depeds want condition he has .Just get him out and about and enjoy the rest of his life .(if possible)

Yourself .BE STRONG .If he see you upset he will feel sad and loss hope himself .bite the bullet .Believe that he going to get though these hard times .Next think you know it hes better .lol

I have a journal. It helps at times. Usually only when I try to find patterns that could have led to a problem though. And I am trying really hard. I just look at my granny. She doesn't have time to cry. He's always with her. And he has un-treatable stage 4 cancer.

The best thing to do is to cry. Even the strong are pushed down. You just gotta know God loves you no matter what.
