Hi I've been like really depressed for no apparent reason, I've also just stoped caring about absolutely everything. Any one know I'm afraid that I'm going to stay this way for most of my life.

eat better, get more sleep, get out and see the sun, find something to be passionate about.
if symptoms remain, consult a doctor.

First, let me tell you this: don't think your depressed because you read something and you have all of the symptoms. My brother did that once and imediatly crashed because he thought he was depressed.

If you have real depression, then get out more. Play sports, excercise(helps with stress), hang out more with freinds, stop doing drugs(if you use them), stuff like that.

If you have "real" clinical depression you should see a doctor! :p Cause that is very serious. Keeping youself busy however, along with other activities already suggested, is good if you're simply really sad and/or apathetic. And don't worry, it very likely won't last your life, and thinking that it will will just make you sadder, hehe.
I reject your reality, and substitute my own!
