Longest Rant I made

Well today I found out that my older brother is doing pot and it happened when he meet his soon to be wife. I think she brought him into pot and ever since he hasn't been the same. But let me tell you guys the background.

I have 2 older step brothers and 1 step sister, all in their early 30s. My dad never told me about them till I was in 6th or 7th grade. Which the infomation blew me away because I thought I only had one younger brother and thats it. I found out that they live in Oregan and I live in Wisconsin. Well earlier this year I thought about buying a plane ticket so I can go see my other family for the first time. Well at that time, my older bro didn't meet the girl who 'got' him into pot. Now when I go see them, I'm kinda nervous and I heard what pot can do to people. My dad can't do anything about it since he lives way over here in Wisconsin and has breathing problems and my step brother's mother lives with him and treats her like sh*t. His mom has nowhere to go and has to do everything he says or he will kick her out of his house. Well thats about it. What should I do, I'm still going even tho he's doing pot but I want to vist my other bro and sis.

Umm, so just visit all of them. The whole pot thing isn't a big deal, odds are he wouldn't smoke when your over. Plus in all honesty it's not like he's on crack or something. Most that will happen if he does smoke is he will try and convice you bananas are round or that peanut butter isn't made from butter or that an obivous idea that really doesnt matter is like the most amazing thing ever. Just chill out, go visit your family.

I'd have to agree with DL. He said what I was too lazy to type up myself. Although it's risky to smoke marijuana since it's illegal and all. Except for in Amsterdam.

My uncle is hooked on all kinds of drugs and he still comes over and is a lot of fun. He jokes around and calls catnip 'kitty-pot' and stuff like that, and he's fun...except he's pretty much always high when he comes over. I'd say that you probably can't change him. Try talking to him at first, saying that he makes you uncomfortable with the pot thing. Chances are he probably won't listen, but hey, it's worth a try. Then just ask that he show you the courtesy of not smoking it when you are there.

You can tell when a lot of people are high, so you'd know. Then you should ask someone to take you home. Maybe your other bro or sis. If he sees that what he is doing is hurting you, he'll probably respect that.

As for the OP's issue, don't do drugs. There's a reason they're considered bad enough to start warning against in Elementary school.
