It's 'snot fair!
We were doing bowling for somepculiar reason in gym, and I went to go get a drink of water.But my arms hurt, so I decided to lightly kick the door open. And I missed and broke the glass. I told the teacher what happened, and he said it was alright, he believed me, and to go to the nurse. I'm down there, and the principal comes i, accuses me of purposely breaking it, says I took out mu frustration of semi-low grades on school property, and I'm going to be suspened. On top of paying for it.
My family cannot spare five hundred dollars! We can barely afford to get gas for the car now! Despite lowering cost! And we have some pretty low prices around here.
And If I'm suspended, I have to spend ten hours in a locked room at schoo with nothing to do!

And I can't get on the computer!

Public School=Crap. Administrators are swayed by whoever has enough money to threaten to sue them--they'll go after poorer people to pick up the rest of the slack. In private school the consent forms usually have clauses against lawsuits (hey if you don't like it, don't pay for it) so that doesn't usually happen.

I think you aught to pay for the window--but if it was an accident suspension is just the principal flexing his power. If you're looking for creative ways to get revenge I'd suggest geting his phone number and listing it in the gay personals--add things like "drop me a line anytime at work" and other such things, that way the receptionist find herself forwarding tons of calls from gay lovers to his number each day and rumors will begin to spread. You could also try sending blatant gay pornographic materials to his school mailbox, just find the adress and adress it in his name. With any luck his life will be ruined--don't take it to fast though, revenge, served cold, yadda yadda.

This reminds me of the time (when I was in 2nd grade...at a catholic school, thing) I went to the bathroom...and some 6th grader told on my for peeing on the floor. "It was there before I got there." I said to the principle when the kid reported me. The principle didnt believe me, and the punishment for lying was to stay in her office (literally) for the rest of the year. I was sent school work while I was in there, and had to stay the whole day while at school, even for lunch. I was in there for at least three months (till the last day of school), so at least it wasnt the beggining of the school year....but it took a toll on my socially, and it probably has a little bit to do with why I dont interact with too many people a lot (but its been getting a little better over the years).

But on your part...Im very sorry to hear that, but sometimes accidents can lead to things like this. Take for an example, car accidents. Sometimes if you get into one (even if its not your fault) the insurance company will increase how much you have to pay (which reeeeeally ticks me off).

That reminds me of a kenny at my school... we were taking the NECAP tests, an he peed his pants, another kid had gas, and I fainted.

UPDATE: Yesterday, I was out sick. And we got a call from Mr.Corey saying he looked into every file on record, interrogated my friends, interviewed my teahers, and just about bribed my mother, but he can't find one trace of sufficient evidense that I broke the window on purpose or was angry. So, technically he couln't make it stick, and I don't have to pay fo it anymore!
But still, this guy is always sweaing at the kids. Rumor is h icked on of the 'late children' mixed in with the school. In french that literally translates to Retarted child. And h gave detention to my friend stephani because she asked her to come to his office, he left, and when he came back, she was still there.
