I have a Nintendo Gamecube With "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door".
I had beat the game (Which is really hard to do becouse its a really long game) just a few days ago. Guess what? Today when I try to start the game it tells me: "Memory card corrupted. Format?" (In case you didn't know Gamecubes use memory cards to save). I am p*ssed off! Dang thing. :cussout:

Well, that definitely sucks. :( Any idea why that happened?

I LOVE that game, though. I haven't beaten it yet, though. I'm on the final boss but I keep loosing. xD;; I think I need to level up some more...
Don't bother sending me messages or anything, I'm not in charge of the site anymore.

I have no idea what happened. I didn't get 100% yet.

By the way: If your having trouble beating the shadow queen, Try this:

RPGclassics wrote:Danger Mario - This is probably the most devastatingly powerful, and risky, Badge configuration in the game. First, you'll want to get as many Power Rush Badges you can get your grubby plumber hands on. You can get extras at the Pianta Parlor. You may want to go to Rip Cheato and give yourself extra Badge Points at the expense of HP... you won't be needing that. After equipping as many Power Rush Badges as you can, decrease Mario's HP until it's under 5. You can do this safely by dropping Mario into water and letting him continually get bitten by a robotic fish. Once Mario's HP reaches 5, the Power Rush Badges will kick in, and for each one Mario has equipped, his Attack Power will go up by 2. With enough equipped, Mario will be able to take out any enemy in the game with just normal attacks. The flip side, of course, is the fact that Mario's HP has to be low, which leaves him very vulnerable, but he should be able to defeat enemies before they have a chance to attack. For additional protection, though, you may want to equip some Defend Plus, Last Stand, Lucky Day, or other similar defensive Badges.

Did you try taking out the memory card and putting it back in? That works for me sometimes when I get errors.

If what michaeldim posted doesn't work for you, try what I found on GameFAQs when I had trouble and you can a good amount of damage done to Shadow Queen. Start off with Super Nova and get Bingo. If I remember correctly, you'll automatically get three shine sprites, after which you should use Super Nova again (although now I seem to remember reading that using Super Nova on her freezes the game or something [Edit]I checked and it freezes only when she's invincible). Also, if you want to use Art Attack, you only have to draw around Peach.

Dude, that happened to me 8 times already. I've sick of it! This little scinario reminds me when I had finally beaten a really, really, really, really, hard game and the memory card messes up.

Even worse of a situation, this happened while I was playing Goldeneye Rogue Agent, after five fours of trying to not get shot by an OMEN mini blater, I finally reach the end of the final level and a notice pops up on the screen:
"Sorry, but an error has occured, please refer to the Nintendo GameCube instruction manual for more details."

Is it an off-brand memory card (did someone other than Nintendo make it)? I've never had problems with anything but off-brands.

P.S. - Wavebird controllers rule!
