Is he a jerk?

Postby Crazy_For_Christ. » Sun Apr 09, 2006 6:22 pm

Now see, my cousin at school, Nicole, needed to talk to me about her love-life. She had a HUGE GIGANTIC Crush on my best friend, Tyler. She was going to tell him at a party, but she didn't because the party got cancelled. Anyway, I told Tyler instead and he told me, "Yeah I know she likes me. And when she asks me out, I'm gonna spell no to her and then say it." Was he being a Jerk?

Shouldnt a rant be more than just a yes/no question?
I mean, couldnt you just ask someone on msn (or aim if you prefer) about it, rather than making a topic about it?
Also, if you want to emphesis something, put it in bold, not caps.
And does it really matter? Why not just tell your cousin that he'll say no, and the scenario wont even take place....

Snaps. That's really harsh. o__o;

A rant can be a yes/no question, in my opinion.

But, yes, Daisymay. Tyler was rude by saying that. If I were you, I'd tell your friend that you talked to him, and that he doesn't like her like that. It'll save her from embarresment. Plus, she probably doesn't deserve to have her heart crushed by such a jerky guy.

My problem with this rant is that there isnt even a problem. Daisymay can just tell her cousin, and the problem is solved....

Yes, but maybe she wanted an opinion on what she should do.

I'm soooo sorry for the spam, daisymay

A jerk in my eyes. He could just tell her nicely that he doesn't like her the way she likes him. It's people like him that make me just want to yell.

Yeah, that is definitly jerk-ish behavior. There are tons of nice ways to turn someone down, there is no need at all for him to behave in such a way.

agree. It can really hurt to be turned down, but if it's done in the right way, then it's not as bad...
