You probably should email him back and apologize to him. But it depends on your stand on the matter and whether or not you really meant it.

Also, don't mind me if you feel I'm acting too much like your conscience or some other annoying form of advice.

Don't worry Angie, things will work out.. If TB3 is truly your friend he will forgive you... Because that is what friends do. I mean Jeremy broke up with me and I forgave him because we were friends before we had a relationship.
