So, its tuesday, the launch day of the Xbox 360. I wake up at 5:30 to get in line early (i live in a small town, so i know there isnt going to be a huge line). So i go down to my local walmart, freezing cold. When i gety down there i see a group of about 14 people huddled near the door. A guy tells me that "they only have 13, so you should leave now".
I got so mad. Why, on a consoles launch day, would you only have 13 systems? And this isnt only at my walmart. Almost every store in the country has around 10-20 of them. And even if you did pre-order one from ebgames-gamestop, you still probably didnt get one because there isnt enough. Microsoft is really irresponsible. We don't know when the new shipment comes in (im guessing this weekend, black friday and all).
And if this happens with the Revolution, well, ill be prepared

I remember my <s>lazy fat*** no-good</s> older brother having the same problem when GameCube first came out. Somehow, though, he managed to secure one despite the fact that the store he went to at 1 AM was already being mobbed...

Oh, and Microsoft is lame and wants to rule the world with bad browsers that suck and a horrible e-mail service. The end.

Not forgetting the fact that more than 90% of virus around the world are targeted to Microsoft. I don't like XBox... no Winnning Eleven games, big controller, expensive, but I hate the fact that the first BTVS game only appeared for XBox. BTVS: Chaos Bleed appeared for the others later.

Personally, i dont know if Im going to get 360. I mean, after a while, if it has good games that IT only features, then I might, but the launch titiles arent really appealing to me right now.

For the deal of videogames, ignore Microsoft (unless you collect tons of consoles). Decide yourself between Nintendo and Sony.

I personally can't stand X-Box. ^___^v I realize a *lot* of people have absolutely been captured by it, but I was born and raised a Nintendo/Playstation girl and that probably won't be changing any time soon.

*high-fives Erynn* Nintendo And Playstation are the way to go!! And the correct way to raise children!! One of the reasons my dad disliked me was because of videogames, but he gave them to me!!

From Nintendo: NES, SNES and N64.
From Sony: PS1 and PS2.

It's called supply and demand. Microsoft makes less of them in the beggining so you want one more. Smart yes, fair no.

I remember the atari, now they have those spongebob versions which kinda ruin the whole fun of the atari. i also played the good old sega genesis, it was like my baby back in the day.

I simply don't see the point of playing them. Especially when two fudgecicle sticks, two 10c pieces, a 5c piece (the 10c was bigger than the 5c in Jamaica...) a solid surface and a friend was all that was needed to play money football, and a tennis ball and a circle of classmates was all that was needed to play scrimmage.

Pagoda-ball was probably unique to my school and is probably outlawed now...

I was never any good at any of these but I didn't let that stop me (although the "salad a kick" rule did stop me from playing scrimmage...)

Theres no real point in getting the 360 as the only good exclusive games for it will probably be the Halo series. At least the original had X-Box Live, but now both the PS3 and the Rev are going to be online.

Which console will -I- get? None, I've grown out of consoles, unless the games are multiplayer. Good thing most of my friends own consoles

Wal-Mart is chock-full of idiots, so I'm not surprised that they didn't plan ahead. They run on something extremely similar to slave labor.

Revolution looks like it sucks.
360 is too glitchy.

I'm not to fond of either of them but I'd either get Revolution or 360 if I got something.
