I have some bullies at school. It got to the point where the Principal came. Unfortunatly he's viewed as a very nice person and none of them took him seriously. Luckily he had backup, our vice principal is twice as mean as any teacher. I'll quote what he told them. "Fine then, if suspension doesn't scare you, (points at them with both hands.) then I'll just have to send The Shwartz on you!" It was so funny to see them all cringe that it took everything to keep from laughing.

Sorry if this doesn't help, I didn't know what else to say so I was hoping to make you laugh to feel better.

Anyway if the bullies bother you punch them in the nose. You might ger yer a** kicked afterwards but at least you stood up for yourself. I on the other get picked on a lot and the principle is a lazy a**hole and doesn't do anything about it so I gotta take on the "If you bother me then I am gonna kick your a**" attitude....So yeah bullies are not really a problem for me.

Um...mcrule, you've really got to start working on your spelling and grammar. It's a rule here at LF that you must use as best grammar and spelling in your posts as is possible and that last post of yours was barely intelligible really. Now I'm not being a meanie, I'm just giving you a friendly warning, okay?

In any case, as to what you ought to do about bullies...honestly, do what all of those "dealing with bullies" pamphlets tell you and tell someone, an adult would be best. It's not being cowardly, it's actually being responsible. Asking for help when you need it is never wrong. ^_^

First, you have to get away from the afterschool special perception of bullies. Ignoring bullies will not make them go away. Standing up to them will not make them respect you. Bullies and the bullied are similar to animals in a pack. You have the dominant and the rest. When a member of the rest overwhelms the dominant, the places switch. Until then, the dominant - bully - will be free to do as pleased. Fortunately, among us this manifests as verbal domination more than physical, though not always. Why do you think there's a "cool" crowd who picks on the "losers"? Same principle.

You have several options. Take Mewberries151's suggestion and seek help. Take matters into your own hands and remove the bully from his/her place of dominance - and face all the consequences of doing so. Remain as the bullied. Choice is yours.

I'd give you some advice: move out from you current school, start a new reputation at another one or murder the bullies from your school.

If insulting, just listen to this story about me *everybody in topic groans*.

Well see, I've been the weakest (yet one of the smartest) kids in school since I was in second grade. I was insulted day after day after day by some weak kids and the strongest kid in school. One at lunch in sixth grade, I had enough of it *everyone in topic raises ears* and then realized that the strongest kid in school is always beating up this other kids. If he can beat all these other guys, yet can only attempt to insult a nerd like me and the weakest kid in the whole school... how strong is he really? That all just showed how ignorant and weak he really was.

Sorry if that doesn't make you feel much better, but it's the thought that counts... right?

It it truely remarkable how the ignorant majority can make intelligence into a bad thing. I dont care what people say about me, becouse i know in a few years then it wont matter how "popular" you are, i mean, bullies cant threaten their way into a high-paying job can they? Do you have anywhere in your school that you could go at break/lunch time? (like a school library or something)

I disagree with whoever said that ignoring bullies won't make them go away. Bullies live for the attention they get from weaker kids, from the "fear" they get. If you don't give them that, they don't "live" and they go away.

My other advice is find the one more or less cool guy/girl in the bully's group and befriend him/her, then work your way into their circle. You don't have to hang with them 24/7, but you can at least have that person as a trump card. Worked for me, and now all my former "bullies" are my pals. MSN-ing with one now, actually

...Wow...wish I'd had this support a few years ago. xD But, truthfully, get the harassment out in the open (even though that didn't help me.)

-sigh- I wish I could offer more words...<rant> But the school I attended as a kid...they tried to get me expelled...when that failed, everyone harassed me...it was absolutely unbearable. </rant>

I guess...those people are worthless, if all they can do is pick on others.

I know from these things, I was being bullied by a girl (don't laugh, it ain't funny) and I couldn't do jack until she left a nasty note in my locker and we got a good handwriting match. (I feel deja vu. I must've said this before somewheres). She rushed to me and apologized. It was pretty pathetic.

I used to get messed with all the time just try your best to live your life. Then one day they'll come in your office looking for a job and you can not give them one and you'll get te last laugh. Of better yet give them one and make there life very hard.
