i thought she was my friend.......

in the beginning of the year, i met a girl named cailin. i thought she was the ultimate best friend i had ever had. (in the past, all my friends have been jerks) she was funny, smart, and nice (at least i thought.) then, i saw her true colors.
the first thing that happened is that the teacher thought we were great together, and every time our desk groups changed, we were together. she and i thought this was great. then, it happened.
kickball. that's it. i was the first ever girl to play it this year. then cailin started playing. i thought this was great, too. then, i realized how everyone thought she was great, and, well, i was just tagging along to play kickball because she was. {wrong!} then, some girly-girls started to play. and fighting erupted. i got in fights with a lot of people {they started it-fyi} and they would talk to cailin about it, and she would talk to me. {butt-out!} we got in a lot of fights this month and febuary. but, what i noticed is that whenever i would get in a fight with someone, they and cailin instantly became best buds, talking and laughing. it pained me inside, because that's not what real friends do. they should be cheering you up when you're blue or in a fight, but she was acting like friends to the enemies! st. patricks day, girly girls played, and karissa hatlee started acting out, so her friend auystin (her karissa clone) got into it too. they started acting out, and i said some sly remarks back, and they and cailin once again, started acting like they were old buds. then, cailin came up to me and said, "i think you should leave karissa and auystin alone" and i yelled at her, "NO! Leave me alone!" and turned away. rachel and natalie heard, and started talking to cailin and asking me why i yelled at cailin.
at the st. patrick's luncheon, cailin sat with natalie and rachel, while my other friend, kaitlin (my TRUE friend) couldn't find me and plopped down next to cailin. i came over and tapped her on the shoulder, and she came and sat down next to me. i had a good time with my friend kaitlin then!
i thought cailin was my best friend.
i thought she was nice.
i wanted her to be not like the jerk she is.
i'm hurt.
i can't be friends with her anymore.
i just can't.
i'll miss being her friend, but i've had enough. i'll be civil to her, but not be her friend or be on the same kickball team. if you are karrissa hatlee or her karissa clone, listen here;

you hurt me. you are both jerks. leave me alone and, karissa, stop tatling on everything and everyone. austyn, i thought you were nice. then, like, cailin, i saw through all that crap. oh, and karissa, calling jimmy jenny was a family joke, not for you, okay? stop calling him that, and i'll stop calling you chris ryan walsh. i can't wait until you go fall in a ditch, and see what it was like for kaitlin.
ryan, you weren't right. cailin and i aren't best friends. she tries to help, but makes me sad. she helps the enemy, not me.

Just keep in mind though, you can't swear openly on this forum. I editd the swear words in your post. I know you're unhappy and you have alot of right to be, but just remember there are some younger members here, and the forum can get into alot of trouble if there's mature content in plain view on it. I lost one of my "friends" this semester. He wouldn't stop trashing one of my new friends. He did this for at least 30 min. off and on. I cried on the way home, and i hardly talk to him.

Sadly, some people are like this. I don't consider him my friend anymore, but i still talk to him occasionally. Ya can still hang out with her, just don't hang out with her as much/anymore. how long were ya'll friends?

I also had a friend. We were super tight. We even called each other up the night before the next school day to plan what we were going to wear together! But then she started hanging out with the "popular" crowd, and she turned conceited and shallow. She started being really mean, and she treated me like I was nothing but dirt. But then, her clique turned against her, and she was left friendless. Soon after, she transfered to a private school. We never really "patched things up", and I totally resent that. You should seriously talk to Cailin and see if you can be friends again, and if she won't listen to you, then at least you know you tried.

She talks about people and how she hate's the 'shallow prissy little princesses' like, um, Karrisa, for instance, then, yesterday, she was acting like they were old friends...! Luckily, I had some other good friends, so I hung out with them. Don't get me wrong here, we're still friends, just not, best friends. We're okay friends.

I can't say nothing like that has ever happened to me. It's happened to me, but only with one person, and she didn't get a lot of people against me. I hate getting in drama with friends. It's pointless and hurtful. So I avoid making friends with people like that.

My advice to you, you should just chill out. If you're super mad, you're going to say things you will regret. Believe me I know. So just let it sit and maybe try to talk to Cailin later after everyone has cooled down. And just tell her how much she hurt you.

hehehe i have had plenty of those kind of "friends" (refering to your andrew) I wouldnt exactly call them friends though. As for Your "friend" cailin You might want to be carful, if it does work out for you, good, but you might want to prepare yourself for a major betrayal. I would give my own examples, but i would prefere not to.

well I think we've all been through it and you either come out of it bitter, or a better person, the only way to come out of it a better person is to realize who your true friends are, and while it might seem corny, easier to say than to do, or some combination thereof, it's true, but it's not as easy as it seems
