Senior Troubles again!

I am a senior and my exams are next week.
I had the exam reviews today and i actually scored single digits on two of them. I have a D in 4 of my majors so i have no choice but to nearly ace the exams to graduate with the rest of my class.
The mental stress of craming everyday, worrying about my insurance payments and trying to find a stable job has pushed me to the point of phisical illness i have slept four hours in the last three days and look like hell.
Some @$$ Keyed my truck so bad that scratch remover wont fix it so now i have to find the cash for a new paint job and to add insult to injury they syphoned my tank onto the ground. and i dont even know them!

That felt good to finally get that out of my system.

This RANT section was a great idea.

I need to go cram now but ill keep in touch.

Concentrate on your work, and try looking for study tips to help. I wish I could help more, but I don't think I can.

However,... It could be worse you know. You could be stressed out by going to school and fighting in a virtual world to save the real world from a demonic, evil, artificial intelligence.

Relax, Rudger. You've got a good mentality on these situations in the fact that you want to get through it. But it's a sign that you need to relax just a little bit more when it's making you phisically ill. The getting no sleep thing is normal though. That you're just going to have to keep doing.

Thanks guys. Usually when i complain like that people tell me to shut up.
I did find some study tips that work. and after you said it irealized that I really should relax more because the stress is from fear of failure and we all know that

anyways i took the night off and rocked out to some AC/DC and i scored a lowest of 76 on todays exam reviews.

And you guys wont beleive this but code lyoko actually helped me in my exam today

I had part of the real final in my french class today and the assignment was to think of a song you know and translate it.

english to french or french to english. So I used Un Monde Sans Danger. I got an A- because i forgot the second line in the middle verse.

I'm a senior too, and we're almost done taking finals...my biggest problem was my music theory one...(I kinda forgot to study ). Just think. Once finals are over, school itself isn't far behind...

The best advice that I can give you man is the truck can always be retanked...the paint can be fixed later....as far as the physical illness...take care of yourself dude, the sleep thing, that happens to me, even though im not in as much stress as you are...so that is sorta normal sometimes...just do the best you can on the tests...good luck, and if you need help...we are here to help.

I figured that I shouldn't clog up the Rant section with another thread so I will just continue this one with a different Rant


I received my report card today. I failed Earth and the environment. Not that bad right but get this. I stayed up (as many of you know from my posts) for two days straight working on my final project. our class is pretty much a democracy so every one else grades the person presenting in class and those are averaged together to form a standard grade. I am freinds with all but two kids in that class and I know for a fact that I got a 87 average from them. My teacher gave me a 53 on it averaging that in I still had a 76. On the final grading he gave me a 47 for the project and a 63 for the year. Does that make any sense? the kid who sits in front of me and sleeps all class passed with a 75 for a final grade. This class was very difficult for me because it is an advanced science class and I have an IEP on the final day of school I came to my teacher begging to get a passing grade. he told me to show some ambition to pass and he would give it to me. I stayed after for 7 hours doing work makeup for him which nearly got me fired because I didn't have my cell to tell them that I couldn't make it to work. when I was finished all he said was that I took to long and he wouldn't give it to me!!! I even did 150 extra credit questions from the whole school year which is supposed to guaruntee me 5 points on the final grade. no credit whatsoever came my way. I could chalk this up to a nasty teacher but the strange part is that the only other teacher that teaches that class is the same one that failed me in biology two years ago. these are the only two teachers that have ever declined my pleading for a better grade and overlooked my special attention needs as an IEP student( I am not a Special ED kid this just means that I learn better when I am taught personally instead of with a group. It stands for Independant Education Program)
they are also the only two teaches that show an outright dislike of me even though I am one of the most well behave and quiet kids in their classes. I also looked over my files from Biology class and I am marked abent 29 times even though that year I won the best attendance award! I did the math on all the marked grades and I should have passed both classes with a 67 and a 73. this is a little more than a coincidence. I have spoken to the superintendant on this and he refuses to do anything. So what I am trying to say here is that I am Missing my high school graduation because two teachers have a vendetta against me fo some unknown reason.

Wow, that absolutelt sucks. I don't even know what I would do if I was in your position. Of course my father is a teacher and I'm sure he would like pull some strings for me. But anyways, since you obviously don't have that... like option, I would just say... suck it up and try to make the classes up in summer school, and try your absolute hardest. Give at LEAST 90% everyday, because we ALL know that NO one can give 100% EVERY day. I have faith in you, and I seriously think you could do it. Given the situation, that's basically one of the only chances you have.

Thanks Paige. Summer school started today and thankfully It is my favorite teacher instead of those two jerks so
I am garunteed to pass this time. but the only problem remainig is my parents who have heard the story and seen the proof and still look upon me like a bad egg. my sister was always the favorite and they thought I could do better and they are sorely dissapointed. oh well at least I am getting a higher education because she didn't go to school after graduation. she just went into the work world. I on the other hand am going to learn to be an Electronics Systems Tech. yay for me.
