My mom has been slowly destroying every happy thought or moral in my brain for the past six years. It's come to the point where I can't stand to be around her without fighting. She has zero faith in me - anything I've ever wanted to do is deemed stupid immediately upon saying it, even if she's doing it too.

For example, I am grotesquely overweight. I told my mom this morning that I wanted to go on a portion planner diet with her, and she started huffing and puffing about how my weight wasn't her problem. Um. Okay? While at the same time, she's CONSTANTLY making comments about my weight and telling me to suck my stomach in or boys will never like me. (I'm a lesbian, but she doesn't have to know that.)

On that topic, whenever we talk about sexuality, we fight. She says that if she ever finds out I'm a lesbian, that she'll kill me. I don't doubt it. It terrifies me - and that's why she doesn't have to know.

We fight about EVERYTHING. She lies to my dad and tells him things that aren't true, and my dad will come in and yell at me calling me things like 'dirty bitch' and 'jackass.' My FATHER, the one person in my family I feel that really cares about me, calls me foul names simply because my mother and I don't get along.

My mom acts like she knows me. She will say flat out that the reason that *I* don't wear makeup is because *I* think that other girls are prettier than *me* and that *I* won't be accepted.

Apparently, she's done the same sick, manipulative mind-games she does to me to my sister when she was younger.

Now my sister is addicted to painkillers and LSD.

Nice, isn't it?

I'm pondering whether or not just to deal with it or impale my mother with something sharp and possibly jaggedy.

I should seriously introduce you to a friend of mine...his mom sounds like yours...only his has been married what....six times, or something. Well, she has four kids, and each by different dad, and now she has another husband...so I guess that's five. I have to agree with Delritho, though. Go to someone who has authority. That's something that may help.

My mom is well, insane. She isn't abusave, and she cares about me, but she has no control.
As for the gay thing, I'm straight, so I'm different there.
I, according the CDC BMI calculator, am at risk of being overweight.

I am in the 94th percentile out of 100, and 95 is overweight. ARRGGG!! According to my doctor, this excess weight will go away soon, but still...

So you're not the only one, but your case sounds serious. Maybe try telling someone your trust about it.

Well I can say is that your mom is a.... Ill say it later, but look, the best thing to do is to talk to a conselor, friend, relative, etc. someone who will help you and, if you happen to get in another fight just say "Atleast im not a slut." (Dont say that if you dont want to.) But, she needs to go to one place, and that is jail. Trying to help. but also you need to tell her she is not the boss of the da$@ world. Tell your dad to stop taking sides with her.

As for what she says about you being overweight, then she's just being a hypocrit.

Personally, I think makeup just makes girls look worse. Girls wearing makeup is one of those stupid viral traditions that just exist. If I female, I'd be proud to not wear makeup, rather than just following everyone else like a dumb sheep. But as for the more important side, well, your mom has no right to tell you why you do things.

She got your sister addicted to drugs? That's terrible.

I think you should just tell your parents to get a divorce and make it snappy. >_>

It's not fair that your mother treats you like that. like said before, talk with someone you know can help. (Best friend, teacher, other family,) or even a psychiatrist. some help is needed. She is your mom and she has no right, nor authority to treat you like that. But, just no that we support ya.

Yeah. Wow. Like. Get your dad to talk with her. Maybe she'll get a divorce, leave the kids with your dad, and you'll be away from her indifference. I dunno... my parents aren't like that, so it's hard for me to help. (P.S. Wow, that sounds like my situation. Except I'm only my mom says I'm fat (I'm not) and she has a problem with my attraction to other races rather than gender. If it is like my situation, then there's really nothing to be done...

Your mom is a b**ch, and deserves to burn. Thats so not right of her to say that she will kill you if your a lesbian. That gets me so angry!

You should stand up for yourself, and if your mom or dad do anything violent, call the police.
