I'd say I've been patient. I've been plenty patient waiting and now it's near the end of highschool and I honestly do feel if I can't succeed now then I'm just a big loser and that any success I get from here on out will just be dumb luck.

20. I'm 22 now, and still with him. It didn't happen in (or even around) high school for me; I'd already been out for 3 years (I don't wanna talk about it ;P ). And the thing was, I wasn't even looking, but I thought that I'd never find anyone. So look, just keep patient and don't try too hard, okay? However some jerk can break up with his girl. call her a slut and a whore because she moves on. Punches out her current boyfriend. Then calls her up at 1 am crying and begging for her back, scratching up his freaking arm with a razor blade and pyschotically being proud of it like it's some sort of proof of love... AND SHE GOES BACK TO HIM~!

Now excuse me here, but WHAT THE HELL? How can an utter pyschopath jerk have better luck then me? Just how I ask you?

Maybe, just maybe, you should put out of your mind. Nobody says you have to have a girlfriend, and I'm sure you'll find one, if you're as great as you say are. But just by chance...you wouldn't be throwing yourself at girls, would you? Just a question, I'm not saying you are...it's just, if you are, it's only gonna make it worse. One of my closest friends did that for her first to years of high school. DESPRET for a boyfriend this girl was, and threw herself at every guy that looked at her, basicly. That did her absolutety nothing, except get her teased and reducled by the male half of the school.
Also, another thing...just judging by the posts, and the way you describe your situation, it sounds slilghtly....obsesseve. Now... (I don't know if you big LOTR fan or not, but if you are...think of Wormtounge and his obsession with Ayown. Did that get him anything, other than hatred from the girl he loved? Nope.) Another example of obesesion about love that gets you nowhere: HERB!!! He will never end up with Sissy. Granted she also is a stuck up *beep* at times, but still, his obession with her only makes him creepy and annoying.

Agreed. I am borderlined obessed. But I'm not obessed with a girl as I am obessed with finally getting what I feel comming to me and finally getting a chance to prove to everyone that I'm worth something and that I am boyfriend material and feeling like I've always wanted too.

Yes but in this case I feel like I'm ODD except I'm not getting any dates. I'm getting rejected and pushed aside for guys that don't deserve to be in the position their in.
