Ok. I have a friend who's in band with me. Eliza (that's her) is very silly and nice and goofy like me. We both like Wicked, Code lyoko, and random Anime shows. She's a very good person. However....
She is also annoying as hell. She inviits herself over to my room, even after I say I'm studying. She calls and makes plans, even though she knows that I wanna do good on my finals. I tell her she needs to study too, and she's just like..."naw, I'd rather hang out with you." I mean...I know she doesn't have a lot of friends, but she tags along on me like I'm a duck!! She also interupts people when they're speaking, and talks VERY loudly in normal situtations. Even my mom and my grandmother asked me to not invite her to anything again. (we invited her to OIP, and according to those two, she ruined it. I wouldn't go that far, but she was pretty annoying.)
Thing is...I can't tell her to calm down. for one thing, I know how it feels to be alone like she is. (she has ADHD, I have ADD...we're basicly on the same page). She also is hypoglysmic.
I can't just tell someone that they're annoying, when I also know this person has a bad disease, and is lonely. She's my friend. But...if I don't say something, I'm afraid I'll hold it inside, and then say something that will really hurt her feelings. What can I do?

Just tell her to leave alone and keep on doing it tell she stops being annoying.

I have the same problem. though I don't know what to do about it either. in fact I was about to post a topic here in the rant myself. but thats aside from this topic so ignore that. I don't know what to do about it. Just think about what you want to do about it.

I think everyone has a friend like this to some extent.

What I did though [even though I am a very nice person, and like you, don't like hurting people's feelings] I told the boy that he really needed to back off and leave me alone sometimes... yes, we are friends, but I have to have some room to breathe, and he needed to respect that.

Since this is a girl situation, [i had a girl who bothered me like this as well] I just told the girl that yes, it was perfectly fine to hang out sometimes, and for us to do stuff together, but not ALL the time. She just needed to realize that, and calm down.

Eventually after I confronted both situations, they learned to keep some space between us... but we are still friends.
