My friends school

Hi one of my friends lives in Texas and goes to SGC (Special Gifted Children(the smart kind not the ones with 3 genes on their 21st pair of chromosomes)) its a boarding school but what i find weird is there are 200 guards. i don't get the reason for guards at a school. The other thing that really gets under my skin is they can Whip the students for not doing homework. And get this the student has no say at all with weather he or she agrees with that at all. It is the parents choice.

mmmm Don't you love the rights of children in this country? ha ha ohhhhhh and to think theres a certain someone telling me that schools have a right to super-scede the rights of the american constitution. *shrug* but it's a private school so whatevber

Okay, there's a law against that somewhere, I just know it....


And, where does it say in the Constitution that Children have the right to refuse education? We're called minors for a reason. Once again, I have to say read the dang book.

I don't agree with the whole whipping the kids thing. That' the parents' job to punish their children not the schools'. Well...At least not physical punishment like that. If I had kids Or were one of those parents I would not want them laying a finger on my child. But that's just the maternal instincts that come with being a girl.
