So Barbara, any movies that you like are your all time favorites?

i don't mind answering questions a second time,
in animation: Chihiro's voyage

Isn't Chihiro's Voyage and Spirited Away the same movie?

Perhaps, I don't know the official name of the movie in Enlish, I just translated the French title. We are talking about the cartoon where the little girl discovers a strange land where her parents turn into pigs and a ghost like creature is creating chaos amonst the inhabitants...?

Hey Barbara... I think this question might be worthy to answer isntead of being infested with loads of questions about movies.

I know you currently enjoy Lyoko Freak as many people do (or had at moments) and I was wondering something today. I knwo that Matt Géczy was the first of the VA clan to join TvTome, then he went through Tv.com and landed on LF eventually. I know you, Jodi, David and Sharon went the same way.

So before TvTome, did you had any previous experience in the matter of hanging around Internet communities?

you still haven't told me if you've played that game!
I enjoyed working with David Cage very much, and had the luck of having David Gasman be the director for the English version. It was the closest I've ever come to being in real thriller. The acting was meant to be very realistic, not cartoony at all.

*nearly pulls hair out* DARNIT!!

It sure was fun working with Sharon, Matt, Jodi, et al. on something action-y but not cartoony like CL, huh? (Oh great, now I have the S1 bug! AHHHHHH!!) We don't have the game, BUT what I do have is the complete first season of CL. I'm getting the complete second season DVD this November, where the general elections are to take place.

Yes, of course. I'm pretty impressed these days by Viggo Morgensen (SPELLING????!!!!), especially by his work in A History of Violence, I've always liked Kevin Spacey, Tim Robbins, Sean Penn (tho' that depenns on the film ;) )and Gabriel Garcia Bernal. i have a thing for Tony Leung, too. (Chinese actor in many Wong Kar Wai films). And Hugh Jackman has star quality.
For female actors, I especially admire Kate Winslet, Judy Davis, Meryl Streep, Maggie Cheung, I also enjoy the work of Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman, most of the time. Zhang Ziyi has incredible star quality.

I also admire Dave Gasman, Matt Gezcy, Sharon Mann Mirabelle Kirkland, Jodi Forrest, and Allan Wenger more than I can say, and I'm privileged to work with them!
Voila!

Actually no, this is my first experience with an "internet community" as you so apty called it! It's alot of fun. Unfortunately though, i wouldn't necessarily have the time or the interest to chat elsewhere, even if I wanted to.

Barbara I was wondering something. I went to school to work on my voice for things like radio and hopefully one day voice acting. I just wanted to know because I have yet to find a job doing so how did you get into voice acting and also what kind of work do you do that goes along with VAing that people don't really see? One day I hope that I can do some VA for an anime so I just wanted to know what else goes into it besides just being able to talk well.

Good choices also since you like Sean Penn and Kate Winslet, a movie called All the King's Men has just been released. Anyway, if you could work with any director in the world; who would it be?

When this thread closes in another 12 pages, the Second edition's gonna have to start with a FAQ...

Actually, Mr. Geczy's thread was allowed to go long past the 40 page level...so I'm pretty sure Mrs. Weber-Scaff's thread will be allowed to do the same. :)

I am really impressed, Barbara, by your performance in this video:

Ulrich's saber can cut through even virtual ice! And those Penchak Silat moves are very impressive! You never cease to amaze us! =D

What I find interesting is this is the first time ever that Ulrich's sword is referred to by it's proper name of 'Katana' - likewise S3 marks the first use of the words 'Samurai' in conjuction with his outfit and 'Lyoko Warriors', finally defining how exactly the team see themselves.

*gives a huge round of applause*

Mrs. Weber-Scaff, I must give you a huge round of applause for your portrayal of Ulrich this season! He's so adorably funny this season! I love it! ^.^

I must also give you another round of applause for your portrayal of the Tiddlywinks Lady in "Temporary Insanity". That made me laugh so much! XD

Bravo! :D

You know what, given that Mrs. Weber-Scaff does Kiwi's voice anyway (at least if my memory is correct), that's probably what Kiwi might sound like if he suddenly learned to talk anyway *snickers*

But yes, I agree with the others. Spectacular job on "Nobody in Particular" and Season 3 in general ^^

Greetings Mrs. Weber-Scaff ^^ I come with a question. It might be a shot in the dark, since it pertains to Season 1, but I don't think it's been asked before and I thought I'd try anyway xD; Do you happen to recall who voiced the goalie from the beginning of the episode 'Zero Gravity Zone'? I have a screencap, if it helps. I was just wondering because I was rewatching the episode the other day, and I could not for the life of me figure it out ^^; Anyway, thanks ahead of time if you can answer ^^
