William was so cheap on Lyoko. Cheap as in he's wicked powerful. He took out like, seven creppers without getting hit once, but he's way too arrogant, which led to his downfall.

Okay, so did he nail the creepers because he was good, or were they deliberately softballing to lull him into a false sense of security? Maybe XANA got such a kick out of taking Ulrich's Lyoko body for a test-drive that he decided to get one all for himself, and the new guy would be the easiest one to sucker into a trap. Any of the others would've retreated into the maze at the first sight of the Scyphozoa.

(Waves drink.) I commiserate with ya. I'm out of luck in a few months. (I'm watching the show on C-Band now - no cable service here - and I think CN's ending their feed in January '07. And if they aren't, I'm likely moving in April anyway, and can't strap a 10 foot dish to my back.) Oh well, wherever I move should (finally...) have cable and highspeed. I still won't be able to watch it on TV - don't think the show airs in Canada - but I shall pray to the gods of all good *.torrent files....

I'm gonna be down for a while now because of XANA-William. It just leaves me a bit upset in an unsetlled way. Like I was dreaming it before it happened, seeing a horrible thing coming and not being able to stop it. I wonder, did the powers that be envision this long before it happened? Did he join in in S2 because this needed to occur some day?

Guess I have to add some kind of William "I am still in here" to my list of hopes for the future of the show. I want him to be saved pretty badly for some reason, but I have a feeling he'll be like this for a long while. Watch XANA guilt trip the gang over it too...

You know... I actually kinda feel the same way. I even told my sister before the show started that I had the feeling something would happen to William. I really do hope he can be saved... and will.

Wow, this is the first time I've experienced the end of a season. I only got to see "The Key" the SECOND time it was aired because on the first time I wasn't yet in to the show.

That last episode was great. It was a very short season, though. So like at the end everyone was mourning Franz Hopper's loss, but nobody cared about William? Ah, he sucked anyway.

EDIT: I just added two paragraphs to the end of the "History" section to Wikipedia's article for Lyoko describing its deletion.

Personally I think Lyoko's going to be rewritten, especially if Jeremie continues to get messages from Franz Hopper. I mean, Season 4 is going to be 30 episodes long, right? (Although I have heard reports of 40 episodes) Code Lyoko needs Lyoko, y'know? ;P And there's gotta be a way to fight XANA, too.

AND I JUST REMEMBERED WHERE I'VE SEEN...*coughs and lays off the Caps Lock* where I've seen the pic on Jeremie's card from. Or something just like it, anyway. Jeremie gave Jim a V-sign and a cheesy grin in one of the eaaaaarrrrrlllllyyyy Season 1 episodes (or something to that effect, it's been a LONG time since I've seen Holiday In the Fog). Cutest Jeremie expression ever xD ^^

It all depends on where I end up staying, really :/ If I'm in a rural area, then I probably have little-to-no chance of getting my hands on a computer, probably not internet. But if I'm in a suburban or urban area I could probably go to an internet cafe or something for a little bit...

Of course it changed color, XANA wants his appearance to suit him. Will's outfit sure is wierd looking. Cloud Strife's sword and Shinji Ikari's plugsuit...later turned into Kaworu Nagisa's plugsuit by XANA.

Funny thing is, red and black were William's usual colors from the start. Was that foreshadowing perhaps?

It's 30 episodes, 15 air in Spring and the final 15 air in Fall.

I totally agree this is Yumi's fault as well. She is just as much to blame as William's ego. His power is incredible... And I dont understand how Xana could possess William with a Schyppie... I'm assuming he hasn't been on Lyoko enough. I AM mad that I have to wait until march to see the rest of this... I mean MAD.

Of course he is, that's why XANA picked him as his permanent host. William's uber-strong but lacks any sense in battle. But combine his uber-strong body with XANA's uber-smart mind...viola! Ultimate Villain.

No, her fault lies in letting him in at all, not letting him in earlier. And it's not all her fault. It's 25% Yumi's fault, 25% William's fault, 25% the rest of the gang's fault, and the final 25% XANA's fault.

I've been wondering about that for two and a half hours, first with sadness, then with curiosity, now with a kind of resolute feeling this was intended. Heck, we had people in foreshadowing (me included~) wondering if he wasn't XANA already the other day.

Now c'mon, we know the warriors can all take eachother down with one hit. That's just how it works. Reference any time they've had to devirtualize somebody in a hurry.

Actually, the only reason he took Odd and Ulrich out was because they had their backs turned towards him. Ulrich was even blocking Will's hits pretty good.
And it's not Yumi's fault William wouldn't listen to Jeremie or Aelita. He deserved what he got.

...Anyway.
