It's 30 episodes, 15 air in Spring and the final 15 air in Fall.

Gah. Only a few more than a full season (like 1 and 2). Wish it was more.

Just saw the ep. Finally have conformation of what TB3's been saying in LTT: You only have to be Scanned to be immune to the RTTP.

Milly and Tamia should just kiss and get it over with.

William looked badass, but lacked experience (would it have killed Jeremie to say "aim for the Eye-like symbol"?).

Sam can't really be blamed for delaying Odd. She was at fault, but was only able to see her crush for a day and the thought of losing her time with him killed her (as opposed to Sissi, who sees Ulrich everyday and looked smug about betraying him). Hell, parting was torture for both Sam and Odd, you could see it. Hope this isn't the last we see of her.

Hiroki, on the other hand, needs a good slap.

And Carthage goes the way of the surface sectors. Hope we get Lyoko back again.

This episode changes everything (well, mostly everything): Xana has now a corporeal form, Lyoko is gone (and we never got to see Jeremie's virtual form ) and for the first time there was a victim (what's more, a kid) who couldn't be saved. I never saw this coming. What a great season finale.

I was thinking also his REAL home. It didn't look much like Carthage. Ya know the place where the Mantas hatch and...blah blah. So maybe it was another part of the computer left untouched by...

Agreed totally. I wanted to smack Hiroki. He is such a whiny baby...
Sam/Odd was cute, and Sam was awesome on her board. So was Odd, but he has the overboard to practice on...
William was so annyoing...I really thought Aelita was gonna send a nice little energy field his way...She should have, he deserved it...

Have Ulrich do it and we'll see what WILLIAM (Not xana) thinks. ^_^ I wonder if he died...OKAY. Maybe not suitable for this kids show.

Would it have killed them to have us see Xanliam(I like that better) show him hitting them with his sword? I mean a couple of kids won't mind. There's no GRAPHIC things to see in Lyoko at least right?

William was annoying, But I probably would have been also, I mean, it's a virtual universe and I would get a kick a** weapon. How cool is that? Also, the energy field attack could kill him. So maybe he could have used a slap. That would be funny to see Aelita do to William. xD

I really wanted to see another "epic sword battle" between Ulrich and William when Will was possed by XANA. Aw well, there's always season 4.

Yeah. The only blood as far as I can remember was in, oh, what was it...that Season 1 episode where the buildings were falling in. Yumi crushed a plastic cup and it cut her.

I also noticed that Willie the Homicidal Maniac changed a bit when XANA overcame him. Did you see the buckles on that thing? I want those boots. Bad. And those gloves definitely weren't fingerless before.

Although, the big red XANA symbol on the chest is a bit loud...

So...what will he do now? Will he come to Earth? Will he be disguised as William or form a completely different identity? How will the gang cover William's disappearance? How will XANA cope with humanity? Food? Sleep? Numbers One and Two? Emotions? Skool?

You know, I was griping about lack of ability to write fic after this, but the more I sit here and mull over it with dinner, the more sure I get that I can do something excellent right at this very moment if I abandon the need to make it match with where S4 starts. We're at a great springboard, and the world just got a lot darker, and thats something I want to play with.

TB3 can sing his rousing rounds of a world without danger, but I stand by my earlier statement that there no longer is one.

Oh don't get me wrong, I still think they'll pull through and find some way to carry on the fight, but I like the idea that things just got a lot worse, even for how they have been going. It makes it empathizing and rooting even more fun

*shakes head* I had a feeling William going in was a bad idea. I mean, he was just so cocky in sector five. It was like he was trying to convince Aelita he knew what he was doing on his very first try! Unless he's XANA in disguise...

He should have listened to Jeremie when he was telling William to detrtoy the Scyphozoa(excuse my spelling). I mean unless he was XANA, and knew what he was doing, he never should have ignored it. And I'll bet that excuse of his about being expelled from his last school was just a lie to explain why he had come to Kadic. He said he was able to remember a dream about helping Yumi out. (another possible lie).

Well, Sam's back. She should have told Odd what Ulrich told her to tell him. I mean, I can understand that she wants to see him, and possibly doesn't want to leave, but she should be honest. Despite that, I still hope to see more of Sam.

Did anyone else find Ulrich's Dad to be quite strict? I'd be slightly afraid of him.

Hiroki was a bit annoying in this episode, but he probably thought his sister was sneaking out to go to some party or something like that.. I don't suppose he knew that his sister was sneaking off to possibly save the world. But I do agree that he's a brat. He wouldn't listen to any of Yumi's ideas. Not even to do his homework for a month. Now who wouldn't want that?

And as for Milly and Tamiya, well I had hoped to see them again, but they fought constantly! They should have just let Jeremie do his own thing, and reschedule. Be respectful of the class valectorian.

William wasn't related to Xana before. He is now (in a very big bad way). That's why Xana need the Scyphozoa, to take control of him. If not, William would have just devirtualize Aelita as soon as they got to Sector 5.

I think XANA has had his eye(s?) on William for quite awhile. After all, he is a near-perfict host for XANA, if you think about it....

I notice Aelita's personality has changed. First of all, in "Temporary Insanity," Aelita was ordering Odd and Ulrich around. You'd never expect something like that from cute, touching, heartwarming, adorable Aelita! And now this! All William was asking was why she doesn't have a weapon and if she fights with her bare hands in a calm, nice tone of voice! Then you see her going all mean on him and crap! I mean, come on, the responses to these two situations you'd expect from Aelita is that she would be frantic and pleading in accomplishing missions rather than being so harsh like this!

Unless, perhaps, there could be an explanation which is that her hormones are changing. I mean the voice of Ulrich in this episode sounds like he is growing up and it's likely that Aelita is too. Meaning, she is growing up as an individual and has become more exotic (in my lustful eyes). Who knows, maybe sometime in Season 4 Aelita will be sexually active and gets pregnant. But that would then make Franz Hopper (who I suspect will be materialized into this world) angry at her daughter for being such a whore!

He's the kind of guy whose philosophy is, "If you're not perfect, you're on the curb."

And that's just too bad. I mean give Ulrich a break, he's trying his hardest to get a decent grade or two. With a father like that, it's no wonder they haven't spoken in a year.
