S4 Episode 8: Replika

Well, it was a good episode, and the new Lyoko is cool. Not to mention the literal energy field Aelita made was awesome. But something tells me were about to see a crack load of OxA pop up out of no where. And I seriously hate, with great intensity, OxA. Then again, they are supposed "cousins" so.......creepy.

Umm, none today as far as I know - I had some cheese and cranberry jelly earlier, but that's it (oh wait, I had chocolate a few hours ago )

But no, those was my initial thoughts when Jeremie's first solution is to destroy the other supercomputers - I mean, seriously, this kid better hope their adventures never go public because if he pulls this plan off and anyone finds out, he's going to be burnt at the stake by the scientific community for crimes against technology!

And I'd like to paraphrase Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged here (quote courtesy of Son-Neko):

"Why weren't you censored? Guns are bad but incest between cousins is okay?"

Yeah as far as I know, this is the first time we've ever seen Aelita truly fly off the handle.

Anyway, I'd post my personal opinions of the episode but... Mewbie's about to swing in and say everything I was going to anyway, so I'm just gonna wait for her ;P

was I the only one who thought it was weird that nobody questioned the fact that Odd kissed his "cousin"?

That's more than likely one of the many reasons why Sissi wasn't buying it. ^^; So, yeah...it was being questioned, just not so far as Nicholas and Herb were concerned because they "witnessed" it.

XANA really has to tone down his usage of William...there was really no need for him in this episode.

Well...he must have figured (and correctly might I add) that only 2 Megatanks against all four of them, or even just Odd and Aelita, was not going to cut it.

William is one of his few trump cards. ...Although William ended up very badly surrounded...which was great.


Anyway, while this definitely wasn't quite as fun a watch as "Crash Course" for me, it had some very cute moments (and now we have the starts of Jeremie's "quest for the Translation program"). ^^

I loved each and every one of Odd's expressions when Jim and Mr. Delmas found him. ...I have got to get screenshots of those later. X)

Everything between Aelita and Odd was just...hilarious. The O/A fans are going to have a field day...and amusingly so are the N/O and N/H fans...not to mention the H/S fans...and the U/Y fans too probably, just since those two totally ditched Odd and Aelita later.

Wow...something for every pairing...except J/A. *snerk* Although to be fair, J/A have had hints, nay, full sequences, throughout almost the entirety of season 4 so...fair's fair. (X

Um, yeah, anyway, it looks like they wanted to do a "TLK-esque" scene between Odd and William...and then chickened out. X) Either that, or I really need to stop watching "The Lion King" and associating it with CL (which probably should happen...but won't... ;D )

And speaking of William..."You hath been owned!!!" That's another screenshot I have to get...him looking terrified as Aelita, Yumi, and Ulrich, all corner him at the edge of the plateau...and then his smirk as he "Geronimo's" himself out of there.

He should have said something snarky...then again, William has yet to say something entirely snarky to any of them...so I'll wait. *snickers*

Um...well, other than the revelations of Nicholas' new outfit, and his love for fishing...I think that about covers it...although I'm sure I'm forgetting something and as soon as I re-watch the episode I'll come running back here to gush about it.

Very fun episode! *giggles*
