And Yumi about being very responsible and duty-oriented, this is is very believable, assuming she at this point has spent most of her life in Japan. The answer she gave to him "Just a friend" should also be acceptable, considering most teenagers her age aren't dating there, because they're concentrating on their duties at home and at school. So, it is to be expected
