Anything else you'd like to tell us?: I think I should tell why I like Code lyoko first off.

I am a self proclaimed geek. I am proficient in PHP and C++. I design graphics with photoshop and I build computers and I love to case mod. I mod cases with my Dremel Rotary tool to add fan/air ducts or even put designs or lettering on it.
I have multiple computers running Linux (Untubu), Windows and Mac OS/10 so its safe to say I am a geek.

Code Lyoko appeals to my inner geekyness. Encrypting, decrypting, super computers, AI, MORPG like video game (Its not really a MMORPG because it isn't really massively in players), hit points, Viruses, Monsters, Core memory, restrictive memory partion that only Jeremie can access. The list just goes on. It also has a nice humor element that i seem to love.

I think the thing I like most is how the characters arent perfect with god given powers. The have real life problems and they act as friends. It its almost how ordinary people can affect the world for the better. I do understand that this is a kids show, but I like how they touch on some touchy subjects that most kids don't understand. Such as love, death, complex computer geek stuff, emotions and sacrifice. Cold War anyone? I think it touches deep on a lot of issues and I enjoy that.

The things I don't really like about Code lyoko is mostly with the story development. I don't know about you, but I think I am going to get tired of the XANA attacks > Deactivate a Tower, RTTP/or not. I liked how in season 2 they tend not to RTTP as much but they still did. I understand that they kinda half too also. I mean when your school buildings are cut in half by a laser what are you going to do?. I also hope that a ghost will never ever ever attack or take control of a person every again. Does anyone has a count of how many times that has happened?

I looked around the first 6 pages in CL discussions and it seems like every one is real friendly. Seems like an awesome community I'm proud to be part of now.

If you have any fan created content (doesn't have to be lyoko related) I'll be happy to host it. Email or PM me. I happen to have a php FTP client on the site, but I perfer not to share it due to a mass numbers of exploits that the software has.
(yea, i know the design sucks, but my friend did it and he was real proud of it. It doesn't even scale right in 1600X1280)

Thanks everyone. I visit a lot of message boards and none seem as kind as this one. Yes, I will look into XANADU and see what help I can offer. I'm glad some people like my avatar (like the admin )

EDIT: I have finals for school for the next 2 weesk so I can't join the XANADU project for that amount of time. I will however join it around christmas.

I'll do my best to have a good time and keep it educated.
