And honestly, couldn't you have done without that line, particularly the "confront me" part? It doesn't do anything but perhaps push some peoples' buttons...

You know chappies, it's quite possible that our new friend doesn't speak a word of German and just thought they'd introduce themselves with "guten tag" to make it different from the other threads. Just like how my recent strange obsession with British phrases doesn't mean that I'm British.

it is true that i am German. i just don't know alot but i do like japenese stuff too. hey to everyone who said hi to me and i'm 13 so if anyone wants to know. u guys do keep going bac and forth it's kinda funny and i know i may be a bit weird so don't take it personally all my friends laugh at me cause of it. i just laugh along and say: u laugh at me cause i'm different, but i laugh at u cause u r all the same. i
