My guess is that one of the site admins wanted to show that video to someone and/or it's a "test video".

I think it already HAS. Especially since UlrichxOdd is now intensely uncomfortable for them to ship, given Quentin's 21 and Gulliver's 14...

Looks like MoonScoop updated their site with CLE info. So far it's just the synopsis, but they really seem to be treating this like it's a completely different show rather than a fifth season.

They are treating it like a another show? Wow...I was kinda worried about that. I may hold off on catching up on Code Lyoko as I don't recall too much of it and don't think I've seen the 3rd and 4th seasons.... I'll debate about this before I jump in and try to find a legal way to watch it which will most likely cost me a good bit of money!

Jeremie really needs to program new vehicles for William & Aelita. Especially Aelita... sure she's got her personal wings, but most of the time she's stuck sharing Yumi's Overwing.

Personally I'm still trying to figure out how Gulliver is Odd and not Hiroki or somesuch. Television production is weird sometimes.

The fact that it's placed under its own section of 26 episodes as opposed to it being placed under the Code Lyoko section with 26 episodes added on to the 97 on that section.

Seems like it's halfway between a sequel, a spin-off and a reboot. I guess the good thing about that is, if it fails spectacularly we can easily shoehorn it into fanon discontinuity terrority.

Well, I did some catching up in this thread.

I loved the vids so far.

Lyoko looks awesome. Odd firing multiple arrows and the explosions of the creatures look epic.

As far as for the live action characters. We will just have to see.

Melanie Tran fits the role of Yumi well looks wise.

You know, one thing to remember about Odd is that he always looked smaller and younger than the rest of the group. Maybe thats why they cast the guy that they did. Just a thought? The hair for Odd looks strange though, maybe they couldnt pull off the spiked peak look with his hair.

Aelita looks....ok. Her hair bothers me a bit, but Im sure it will be ok. I can overlook that if the acting is good.

Ulrich: same as Aelita, looks ok.

jeremy, They did a good job with him. He looks the part.

I saw a photo of the cast together, *minus Melanie for some reason*, and Leonie looks like a younger Hermione from Harry Potter. In the photo they were holding their respective character's figures. The guy playing Ulrich had his character sitting on "Jeremy's" shoulder. It almost looks like they have a good friendship in real life. That makes for good character closeness on screen as well.

Im all excited to see what happens.

Quentin said something on his Twitter once about how this is a picture from an early makeup test, so maybe Melanie's having makeup done. They do all look like friends, don't they? I know for a fact that Quentin, Melanie, and Leonie are tight, not sure about the rest, but this is just adorable.

Anyone but me think Leonie always looks like she stepped off the set of a John Hughes movie? And the way Diego is leaning over his head looks enormous.

Nope! That seems to be coming out on Thursdays lately, so we should get a new video then. I think I'll make a new thread for it then and start fleshing out this forum a little.
