Undfortunately, the printer is connected to the old computer and the old computer is not connected to the Internet, so I haven't printed it yet.

And yes, that big fat bloke at the bottom centre of the picture is me. MewB has captured me well. It looks even more like my brother wearing glasses, although he's a lot thinner now (RIP since 1991)

^^; Thanks very much! It was a decent bit of work, mostly in designing the characters, but it was alot of fun because I'd never designed a group of characters before. I'm thinking about uploading all the rough design sketches I did for this pic into my scraps, but I'll have to find them all first.

This picture was handrawn first in pencil on an 11x14 inch drawing pad. After drawing the entire thing out, I then inked it in and scanned it into my computer ("Virtualization"... ). From there I used Photoshop to do all the coloring. This picture took about 5 different layers in PhotoShop: Background, Lineart, color fills, and then two other layers specifically made for the glass in the eyeglasses, and for earrings (the earrings one had to be put on top of the lineart layer itself). So it was an interesting mix of traditional drawing techiniques and digital ones.

Anyway, I'm glad you like the way I drew you! You're most welcome, and thank you very much for the compliments! ^_^

Thanks! Yeah, TV Tome was really a nice place for CL info. Then again, LF can't be beat when it comes to it, either. ^_^

I'm sorry, I wish I could offer you advice on how to fix your scanner. I can only suggest that you take it to your nearest computer repair shop and see if they can fix it. Also, I can tell you that in the absence of a scanner, a digital camera can work just as well.

Thanks! Yeah, that's the the process for it anyway. The secret was luck, though, and all the encouragement I got on this too. ^_^ I never would have been able to finish this without all the moral support I got while I was making this.

It is indeed an awesome idea. I definitely will consider it...I could do with a rest though, or at least time off to finish up the rest of the pictures people are waiting for me to do. ^^; I've fallen a tad behind. Dan&SandwichBoy have asked me to do illustrations for his fanfic GK2, and I owe G-Force a couple of pics...and then there's my art trades...
