Well after those pretty dismal videos I uploaded recently, here's my first proper 'Music Video' - a seven minute monster using the song 'Broken English', by the group Schaft. I'm pretty proud of it, given that I made it in one day.
Oh, and yes, that is a 55-second audio clip of Adolph Hitler at the start (if you're put off by it, skip to the end of those 55 seconds where the proper song begins) - I honestly have no idea what it's there for, but I couldn't remove it so I synched it to Franz's video-diaries!

SISSI IN LYOKO - AS ODD!
I suggested this concept and YDV said he'd draw it, so I thought I'd also try my hand. Considering it's my first ever attempt at Sissi or a Lyoko-form I like it - and yes, her hair is trying to do 'that' thing.

DARK ODD 1
This and the following are basically two versions of the same thing - a nightmare vision Odd has after an argument with his Dad over joining the army after school. He sees himself cut, bruised and weilding an assault rifle - I was hesitant to put these pics up but then saw that the same model of rifle had already featured in 'Common Interest' so decided to try.
Ths one features a specter of General Della-Robbia in the background, a lot of text. and I really went crazy on the shading. I'm not sure about it.

DARK ODD 2
This is a tidier version of the above - I redrew the hands, repositioned the gun and altered the boots. General Della-Robbia has been removed and the shading is also a lot less 'mascara' like. It's better for it.

WILLIAM IN LYOKO - AS ULRICH!
Again another non-team-member virtualised with the clothing of one of our heroes. However this one is played straight and not for gags after I decided William actually went quite well with Ulrich's costume.

Another illustration from a story I wrote. The situation is that Yumi is facing down a truck that is trying to kill her. She's holding a handgun, wearing a leather jacket, and looks a lot like Carrie-Ann-Moss.

This picture just elvolved during a boring lecture today. I've also wanted to draw this for a while. I love the costume, but I think this tracing lost something that the original sketch had.

FRANZ HOPPER
I drew this after Season Two started as an alternate design for Franz Hopper - as you can see he's a very different animal to the one in the show. Inspiration came from my father and Gendo Ikari of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

SHARON HOPPER-GRANT
A fancharacter design for Aelita's mother, and strikingly similar to the woman seen in the end credits (which I had not seen at the time). She does look a bit young however for marriage and childbirth - maybe this was her in her university days. Influences are a drawing of Aelita and Seras Victoria from the anime Hellsing.

STAR-TREK CROSSOVER
This was going to be a fancomic following the consequences of Odd playing a Star Trek DVD marathon on the supercomputer, but ended up as a pair of drawings. I was also going to draw Jeremie as Geordi LaForge, Yumi as the Borg Queen and Aelita as T'Pol from Enterprise, but those pics aren't finished yet.
ULRICH AS CAPTAIN JEAN-LUC PICARD:
Weirdly, if you take away Ulrich's most distinctive feature (
) he turns into a young Patrick Stewart. As for why he's smiling, presumably he's looking forward to blowing stuff up real good with the Enterprise-D.

Likewise, give Odd a beard and tidy his hair up and viola - Johnathan Frakes. As for why he's peeved - well either he still doesn't look old enough to buy booze from Ten-Forward, or he's ticked off that a 'certain something' came along for the ride;
"jIH vIHHa’ ghaj it! mIghtaHghach tail!"
That is Klingon, according to an online translator. I think the meaning is obvious.

JIM IN LYOKO 'ZEUS GOD OF LIGHTENING!'
A request by Taelia which I hope she'll enjoy. Jim is basically wearing a maroon undershirt (the collar just sticks out), and kahki trousers. Over that however he's got large pads of Kevlar and leather body-armour. Metal armour on the wrists and face complete the set. His bo-staff is a titanium shaft with a graphite core, making it an excellent conductor for his lightening abilities. Oh, and my first pic with colour elements.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
Again I decided to draw a situation I suggested as a joke over in the 'how about a Christmas Special' thread. Like the Jim picture this is also another foray into a touch of colouration - I hope everyone gets a laugh or two.
Oh, also noteable as my first ever picture that required no tracing whatsover, this is the original sketch, and my first attempt at a monster. I personally think the little dude looks perfect, but I'll leave you to voice your own opinions.

DIE OFFIZIERE VON BUNDESNACHRICHTENDIENST
This trio of requests came from HvonM for his story in progress 'Into The Eye Of The Storm,' and I'm very proud that he came to me for them. Each picture is of an officer of the Bundesnachrichtendienst or BND, the German Security Services, and all three become entangled in a web of epsionage when technology recovered from a disused factory in Paris goes missing...
ULRICH STERN - 'MITTEL'
Having left France after failing to find a university in that country, Ulrich moved back to Germany at his parent's urging. Now in his twenties he is a 'Mittel' or 'Agent' of the BND.
Personality-wise he's much the same, but still pines for Yumi.
I have to say I like how Ulrich's face and torso look but there is something about the legs that I don't feel went right.

HELMUTH KLAUSBERGER - 'LEITER'
Ulrich's 'Chief' or 'Leiter', Hemluth is a capeable officer of the BND but his achievements are overshadowed by those of his older brother Dietrich. Helmuth is consequently very unsure of himself and a lot of turmoil brews within him.
This picture was the first I turned out and might be the best - references included Theo Gauthier for the hairstyle. Originally he was drawn with the right arm leaning on top of Jeremie's 'Control Console' but I moved his hand into the coat pocket instead as the original pose looked to casual.

DIETRICH KLAUSBERGER - 'DIREKTOR'
Dietrich is Helmuth's older brother, a very by-the-book man who is also extremely proficient in his role as a Direktor of the BND. Dietrich is also well-known by the other agents for his fighting-spirit, and looks liekly to become the next 'Director-General' of the Bundesnachrichtendienst.
HvonM suggested a business-suit for his attire, and this brought to mind this mental image of Dietrich which translated well to paper, though finding a good photo of a suit to work from was murder.
I think I captured his expression nicely - you just know that despite looking like a desk-jockey he's wearing a pair of armpit-holsters and has a knife tucked into his sock - do not mess with this guy. You have been warned.

YUMI & JIN ISHIYAMA IN LYOKO
G-Force requested a shot (honouring me greatly in the process) of Yumi and Jin Ishiyama from the 'Retelling Series' back to back and in pre-fight poses in reality. I hope he can forigve me for tweaking the setting a bit but I really wanted to try drawing Lyoko-forms a bit more.
Those familiar with Japanese Culture might notice I've also reversed Yumi's kimono to right-over-left, because the way she wears it for the show (left-over-right), is apparently only done with a corpse that is to be cremated.
I'm not quite certain about this pic - I'll soon take a whack at G-Force's other request of Jin and Ulrich kick-fighting.
And if this picture had to have a caption - YUMI: When Mum said she wanted a Family Portrait I don't think she quite had this in mind.
