So, I know I have "Multi-faceted" to finish, but I'm also offering up a one-shot fic a week for whoever guesses my signature. So, this is the first result. It is T rated 'cause it has some language, and - oh yeah - slash. Thus the thread title. So, please enjoy In a Lonely Place and comment on it.

Funnily enough your first "one-shot" ended up being 3 chapters.

I really did like this by the way. Short, not too much angst, but not too fluffy either; just the kind of fic that I like. I loved Ulrich's response at the end, just seems perfect.

Not exactly a pairing I would have thought of, or would write for that matter; but I liked it.

Earlier, I was experimenting with images and they all ended up being too large, but I wanted it to be noticeable anyway, thus the message. I liked writing your fic, chaos. Did you get the last 2 PM's I sent?

It's good - Odd's misery in the second chapter is wonderfully done - and even though its slash its not overdone - its restrained enough to be believable - very, very, very good!

I will have to say Stonecreek that this work is one of, if not the best Lyoko romance/angst/slash That I have read. It is actually beliveable and not over done. The pairing was quite a shock, and the characters maintained thier show creditablity, especially Jeremie and his dealings with his friends. I disagree with the whole part about being concentrating on Xana and not really loving anyone part, but it to was well written and could be believed. So It gets my seal of approval.

The only thing I would be more interested in is more evidence/examples of why Odd picked Jeremie.

If I decide to continue this, that will be one fo the main focuses (other than ODd's on-going dilemma). Glad to have picked up another fan. Woot!
