I wrote this a while back. It takes place sometime after "The Kiss" episode, Aelita is having a hard time now sorting her feelings for Jeremy. Meanwhile Yumi is having problems of her own. All the while XANA takes control of one of the most powerful human beings on the planet.

And to answer your question, seeing as how I wanted to grow as a writer I wanted to try different from my ussual style of writing.
