I looked warily up at my parents as sun beat down on my face. I was in trouble, lots of it, and boy did I know it. The past three nights I’d snuck out of the house, needing to go back to Lyoko. Xana was more active than ever. My parents had finally caught on to this sneaking thing and were worried – furious too. They confronted me on this supposedly peaceful day, as we were all walking in the park a few blocks from home. Luckily, Heroki was at one of his friend’s (I can’t believe he has any) houses so he wasn’t around to bother us.

“Yumi, we’re quite worried about what you’ve been doing these past nights. You know that you can trust us, don’t you, honey? We love you, and we don’t want anything to happen to you. But your actions do have consequences, which you will have to endure as your punishment. Now, where did you go? What did you do?â€
