Anyways, after doing some digging, I have come across a fairly good list of games that "The Game Factory" (the company making the CL game) has previously made and I am starting to have second thoughts
TGF game list
Here's just a few examples on the list:
Franklin the Turtle
Dora the Explorer
Strwberry Shortcake
Just to name a few...
I'm sure you can understand if I'm just a tad bit concerned as to where the game is headed. I know CL is rated for young audiences, but the difference between CL and these other shows that TGF has developed games for is that CL actually appeals to older audiences as well as its target audience. I'm just hoping that TGF takes this into account and makes a good game out of this.

For example, Rare is a big company and has made lots of neat games, but their games are *nothing* alike. They did the Donkey Kong Country series (games for all ages) as well as some of the Bond games (not really for small children). Capcom has brought you such games as Street Fighter, but also made a little game called Toki-Tori.
Besides, Dora the Explorer is a show aimed at very small children, namely girls, while the target audience of CL is both boys and girls of ages 7-12. (Though obviously it's captured older people too.) There's no way they'd make an EC-rated game for a show with those kind of stats. It'll be rated E (or maybe E10) with plenty of stuff that both genders will appreciate.Don't worry!
