Sorry for posting under GD. Anyway, of all things to replace Lyoko with- Code name Kids Next Door! It's only on every other half hour or so it seems to us! Hope September will bring us CL's Season Three at long last!

Last night, I had a nightmare about XANA. My friend says it's because of lack of CODE LYOKO, or as I like to call it, hypolyokia.

More and more television channels are replacing their mature shows with new, crappy shows aimed at little kids.

I used to think Codename: Kids Next Door was an okay show, but once you think about it, what kind of dopes use food as ammunition?! Oh wow! I'm so scared; the Kids Next Door is going to hit me with ice cream! And their complaints... adults getting kids to be healthy and smart is considered tyranny?!! The characters are nothing but spoiled brats.

I also can't believe they replaced Yu-Gi-Oh! GX with Pokémon: Advanced Challenge. For God's sake, Advanced Challenge sucks! The original was okay, but Advanced Challenge is the turning point between good and just plain stupid, and Miguzi just had to put that in their block.

Overall, I'm really disappointed with Miguzi. I might even start a spam war against them if I'm desperate.

It's all for money. Nobody produces cartoons to entertain, they produce it for money off toys and advertising. If something makes more money than something else, than the lesser moneymaker is pulled.

While intelligent shows such as CL are much better, they have a slow takeoff and may not make much money immediately. Plus, CL is French, which makes transactions a bit harder.

Other shows, such as Pokemon, make a huge amount of money in a short amount of time. Then, after the first season, they say, hey, this is good, let's milk it as long as we can. Then, the money stops coming as popularity wanes. They only live on previous successes-and as writers run out of plots, yet demand from networks comes, the show slowly becomes worse and worse.

CL's not the big moneymaker that, say, Fairly Oddparents is. But, FOP is running into a rut. CL is not. Yet, if you gave a network the choice, they'd say FOP.

And...that post has no real point.

True. CL in Britain isn't all that popular. And CN doesn't help by not showing the last 13 eps. of season 2 (they go far as episode 13 of season 2 and start again at TeddyGodzilla) and they only show it in the middle of the day, where the only people that can watch are kids who are sick, skipping school or have study leave before exams. And during half term, what do they do? Cancel it and have back to back showings of Pokemon all day long. The only other time you can see it is 3.45 in the morning!

To top it off, they remove the opening and closing credits in most episodes. I'm insulted by that. (whenever I see this, I go “F**kersâ€

Carth, You are right. Pokemon is running in a rut. They get to the city team rocket attacks. Pickachu blow them away. Ash gets a badge. It's getting old and I am getting fed up with it. I say do this line up:
Teen titans.
Code lyoko
Code lyoko
Teen titans. what does every body think?
