Whats the deal with their forums? I have been trying to join over there for a few months, but every time I go to register I get a SQL error. Does anyone keep up with that site or are they just not accepting new members? you would think that the official site would be maintained a little better.

HA! SQL error. Hmmph. That site is run my someone named "Moonscope", probably a representative of the site, who really doesn't care at all about the forums. If you have an error, it's because the last time moonscope showed up was 3 months ago, with an age requirement form that was a pain in the neck for everyone. The time before that was 9 months ago, and she posted 3 times and left again. That's what the Admin is like over there. You did register at the site right? It won't let you just log onto the forum, you have to have an account on the homepage as well.

Did you try to register at the forums or at the official site? I remember when I tried to register at the forums I couldn't, then I tried the site and that worked out.

I'd like to add new data, not really important, but I just checked Moonscope's file, she has posted a total of 12 times since the official forums have been made. Is that not pathetic? Star Way greets people personally when they join, and that bum Moonscope can't even regulate the forum properly. I've heard the mods talking, it takes all manner of ****fire to ban anybody from that forum, because they have to chase the admin down to get her to approve it!

Hmpf, I joined millions of times when the site was first up. Never got on til like three weeks later. If you ask me that site needs some new admins and mods.....heck that site needs everything.

That Admin is a chipmunk. Runs around every where and never catches her, I've emailed her TWICE last year in french and english. NO response...

A simple answer, I registered with the site on the main flash page, not the forum, works for me, even the password! But I might've registered after, I don't remember.

I was always under the impression that when registering at the flash site, then you automatically have forum access. However, I never bothered going to the forums, so I don't know. Check what the previous two posters said.

Yup, I've had that problem....I'm sure all of you have seen the iPod Avatars of Odd, Ulrich, Jer, Yumi and Kiwi? Well guess what. A long time ago, some rat over at CL.com named Paradox, decided to steal them. I never knew this 9 year old criminal, but Paradox got to my Avatars. I was never part of that forum untill I got another Art theif. But anyway, Paradox stole them from me, and decided to make MORE of them under his/her/its name.

But From then on, I learned to sign, or watermark my art.

If you want to see another art theif, I suggest looking at my art thread on the last 2 or 3 pages.

Seeing as how I have nothing but negative things to say about CL.com... I'll just not say anything.

Much as I hate to defend that site in any way, you have to consider the fact that LF is a considerably smaller community than CL.com's forum, which therefore makes admin/user interaction significantly easier here... Also, I'm a CL fan, so I actually post (sometimes ) rather than just take care of this place, which, more than likely, is all CL.com's admin(s) are for leaving aside whether or not they actually do that job at all or not, of course.

But thanks for the kind remarks, in any case.
