Jim likes his charges but he yells at them? - ENOUGH!

Okay, there is one question that I have been pondering for days now after watching several CL episodes. If Jim "actually likes his charges" then how come he doesn't say anything about it, and why does he CLEARLY act the opposite?

Some examples:
- In "Rock Bottom", Jim implied that he was sick of the four Warriors/
- In "Unchartered Territory", he yells at Aelita! Ulrich tells him to take it easy, but Jim clearly and ultimately refuses.
-Jim addresses the children by their last names! That's just rude! If he is gonna address them by their last names, he should be more polite and add "Mr." or "Miss" at the beginning.

Me and my friend Elizabeth (who also likes the idea of Jim acting kinder) were thinking about making a petition to end this hatred once and for all! Jim can have authority, but he cannot yell to enforce it! They're in a boarding school, not a prison!

Yeah he doe's act more like a diversional offier then a Pe teacher/ Whatever he is .Remind's me of the day that we got a officer in deep trouble. LOL

Guys - this thread, in all fairness, seems a bit moronic - Jim might like the kids, but you have to admit, he's entitled to yell at them after all the times they've snuck off doing weird things, skipped lessons, and having put up with Odd for two years - the fact that Jim is nice to them AT ALL says something - I mean, look at Delmas or Hertz. At least Jim gives a d**m about the kids.

Also, yelling does not equate meanness - one of the teacher in my old school, a Mr Adrian Brown, would yell often and frequently (the very sight of him walking onto the playground was enough to break up many a student stike). Yet he was, and remains, one of the most beloved members of staff with the pupils). Why? Because he toed the line between authority figure and fun guy, and so does Jim - the kids like him, he likes them - he does however have to do his job as teacher and dorm manager, hence the occasional infraction with the students.

Finally - a petition? Seriously? Moonscoop is ANIMATING S4 right now and you feel you can petition to have Jim rewritten. Sorry, but I don't see that happening.
