If they pull off the appearance tastefully, like just make it something exciting for the group to do, it will be fine, because the music's not bad. What are The Subsonics called in the CL French version? I've been asking that myself after reading your post, Na'Tona.

Easily, Code Lyoko ditches the existence of Subsonics and just shoves The Subdigitals on our tv. It can be shown without any explaining at all. Or say they needed a name change for whatever reason.

"The SubDigitals" is what "The SubSonics" are called in the French version. ^^;

Ummm...just adding onto my other post, this means that they'll just more than likely translate the groups name to "The SubSonics". That's what they've been doing, so I don't see it making a huge difference (other than now they exist as characters ^^ ).

Well you all got a point .I think the group has to much connection to the show .It's the group that everyone must listens to at karic .At my school evryone listen to there only music .I listen to a number of bands Linkin park, Runrig,Peatbog faries,and to the radio.A show called traveling folks .It's a bit sad that it's the only song played on the show if you think about it.

Nope - I like the CD and like you I'm looking forward to seeing them on screen - if anything it should prove for a few laughs, especially if you work this through:

3 Characters - Chris, Ben and Nico

Only two male VAs who can do young voices - Matt and David.
Barbara however can do a good male voice and is a trained singer.

Basically, I'm wondering if we're gonna see Barbara, Matt and David singing in three-part-harmony

Here's a funny thing, since this is (supposedly) the last season.(A.K.A Season 4) I was thinking they'd show up as a little treat for the gang at the last episode. (I have no clue if they win this battle [if there is one]...but in my version on mental-state they do.)

I love the Subdigitals to death, literally. Not only is their music awesome, they're actually kind of coolish for older guys. Anyone who's related to Jim has to pwn in some way.

Someday, I'm going to call up my local radio station and request the Subdigitals. Just as soon as I learn how to record phone calls.

Just one question. Are there any lyrics out for any songs besides Planet Net? I'd love to know what Ensemble and La Tribu are talking about...

The Subsonics are the rock.

I'm with the earlier consensus: As long as the writers don't do anything stupid, like try to write the Subsonics into the episode in any function beyond "the Subsonics are here, and they're having a concert," it will be awesome.

The last thing I need is for the band members to have any speaking roles other than addressing the audience, or possibly doing that awesome thing where they talk to a character who doesn't recognize them, gives them advice ("yeah, she's crazy about you and you love her too, you can't just let her walk away") and then walks off and mentions their identity in passing ("oh, I gotta go play now") and Ulrich's all like "you're..." and then indeed recognizes him on stage.

I mean, that bit is just too classic (it's a classic, dang it, not a cliché) to pass up.

I have been trying to work on lyrics for a couple of them, one of them being "Ensemble" (because it's so spiffy *giggles* ). I can't guarantee them being 100% as accurate as an official issue of the lyrics though (since I don't "hear" French very well), but I can guarantee that I'll do my best on them. *salutes*
