I don't know how the Code Lyoko airing was at the USA during Season 1, but I know for sure that during Season 2 and 3 almost everyday you watched CN to get to see a new episode. Monday you had a new episode, the next day you tuned in to CN to watch the other one and so on.
Now, during those seasons we were used to have new episodes weekly and we were adapted to such condition to the point of being extremely desperate to see a new episode as soon as possible. However, once the season was overyou had to wait an extended period of time to grab a new season, which may have led some fans to abandon the show.
Some fans loved to have new episodes everyday, but others would have thought of 1 new episode per week as a good idea.
Now by Season 4, Cartoon Network is airing 1 new episode per week. I'll admit I was pretty much anxious to watch the next episode quickly. I thought I could adaptate easily to the new airing, but it took me a few days to get used to it. But now I think it's the best thing they could have done for the show. Making it seem like an important show rather than just some average show that just passes material as fast as it can be shown. The anxiety increases and leads more time for the episodes to be discussed, possibilities, expectations and such. Season 4 at the time being is a decent season, nothing great, nothing dissapointing, but still a nice display after all.
Back to my original question: are you used to the idea of airing one new episode a week or not?
If we had it the old fashioned way, we would have watched by now 18-19 new episodes.
I like the pace it's going. And you?

I'm impatient for new episodes, sure, but look. With the eps stretched out, it keeps the high going a little longer. I hardly remember S3 because it happened so fast. I know i'll definitely remember S4.

Well, the good news is, by having one week airings, they increase demand and popularity amiong fans. Unfortunately, because there's fewer and fewer airings, you get less people who are new to the fandom.
Ehhh, anybody who is gonna be a fan of this show already is pretty much, we're into season 4, somebody would need to review a LOT of a show to catch up on the plot.
As for the pace, slower is better here. It ups the importance of each episode and all those other good things.
That said, I could really have gone for like a M/W/F update, or at least a two a week of some kind, one a week makes it go by terribly slowly. It's the industry standard, so I get it totally, I'm just an impaitent spoiler-monger I guess.

I used to like the other way, but then I couldn't watch some episodes because I had to do something that day at that time, so I switched to the new airing way. It's a lot better, but you have to wait for spoilers. Gives you cliffhanger.
The creator, Carth, had never experienced autism until she read my story.
Sorry I was gone.
I really like how it's airing now.
When it had it's everyday schedule, I sometimes missed episodes... and when I started a new job I always missed it!
Now it's on in the evening, once a week, so I can make sure to watch it
It just really makes me look forward to another episode the next week, more than I did when it aired everyday.
I really like the one-a-week thing, cos it gives you space in between to speculate and rewatch and stuff. I guess. xD; Also, once a day is kind of too much thrown at you at once. Haha, at least we're not waiting two weeks or entire months for the next episode. <s>HI, AVATAR. WHERE IS S3?>>;</s>
