That just. Makes me want. To headdesk. Repeatedly. Dx

Not to bag on that kid or anything but...that's the fault of "short attention span" (or at least a lack of knowledge about what France looks like on a map, and what a Euro is ^^; )...not necessarily CN's "Americanization".

After all, anyone who pays some amount of attention to the show would at least question why the kids put Euros into the vending machines instead of dollars or quarters...or why they continually show a map of France when Jeremie says XANA's attacking them. *sweatdrops*

Again, no offense to that little kid but...
"Hey, make up your mind. Am I a genius or a creep?"
"You're a creepy genius."

Sometimes when people watch a show, they may not pay attention to little details. Of course, these little details may not change the plot drastically...

I'm talking like, after season one. xDD; There wasn't a whole lot of evidence that I recall (although I'm sure there was some..)

I don't know, you're probably right. I'm not really trying to defend him either. ^^;

Anyway. It just makes me wonder how much of the general population that watches CL (casual watchers, maybe) <i>knows</i> that it's set in France.

Prior to go around the Internet and finding out that Code Lyoko was set in France, I knew that it wasn't American due to the way Kadic Academy was being portrayed and the way the show was portrayed. It had an european feeling when I watched Season 1 during the time I became a CL fan and evnetually got into the Internet finding more aobut CL, which would eventually lead me to some interesting events.
